Question: If you could travel back in time what time period would you choose and why?

I would like to travel back to the 70's because a lot of my favorite bands were from that time.

Though noble and wonderful a cause that would be, my limited knowledge of how time paradox works means that it wouldn't work. Well it would, kinda... but not at the same time.
