even if there WAS a time traveler, i'm sure he would have done something a little more exciting than attend a bridge opening.
I know right? He could have done a lot more but then at the same time he might reveal his identity in the process and break current logic and thought process of todays world.

He looks like a real 'dude'. :X
I would have gone back to the year 6 with a Kalishnikov and ruled the whole damn world for a week. then i would get tired of it and go back to present day.
besides, i don't adhere to the "if you kill a butterfly in the past, the future will change greatly" ideal. I think that i can do whatever i want and the time would exist in the same way later because it was supposed to happen.

Nice story.

I personally will believe time travel when it happens to me or if I see it with my own eyes. For now, it should stick to being subject material for (GOOD) comedy and drama movies.
Wow, solipsistic much.
Anyway, I want to hear someone's explanation as to why it's a fake. All I see is people saying 'fake' an unnecessary amount of times without a good explanation. It looks convincing to me.

If someone were to travel back in time, assuming he was smart enough to handle that kind of technology, I'm sure he would have been smart enough to dress inconspicuously. Also, [insert the other billion reasons why the idea is completely illogical here].

I'm sorry if saying this makes me sound closed-minded, but reverse time travel will never happen. Ever. It's not that technology is too limited, it's that the very concept of traveling backward through time doesn't make any logical sense. Purely science fiction material, and nothing else. And if the time machine ever is really invented, I will whole-heartedly admit I was wrong, just before traveling back in time, killing my parents, and causing the world to explode. And maybe dividing by zero for good measure.

Heard of photoshop? Not saying its not true, just theres that possibility.

OT: I would only believe in time travel if it happened to me, otherwise I remain skeptical.

Not quite, when you go back in time, your more like a ghost. People can't see you nor can you touch them. You mainly just stay around to enjoy the experience. Though seems cameras can still take pictures of you, which is weird, though rare. Most of the time we just show up as orbs, on some rare occasions you might catch our outline, the rarest's of occasions you'll get to see our full bodies. Some times you can even see us when we go back, this again is extremely rare, and we again mostly appear as orbs. Must be a glitch in this time machine. Some have however figured out how to bypass the whole touch thing, but with limits, it wont always work. These people tend to be like trolls though, they just go into random peoples houses to scare the shit out of them.

I'm one of the many that aren't able to touch... so I couldn't really hit Hitler. I did get to watch a lot of things and being the immature idiot I am... well lets say Marlin Monroe was one sexy lady :D.

Of course he's a time traveler. I bet that, after that photo was taken, he continued to travel forward through time. Just like we're all doing, right now (dun dun DUN!).

And yeah, as plenty folks are pointing out, nothing he's wearing or holding was unavailable at the time the photo was taken. He was just a little fashion-forward. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go put on my silver jumpsuit & try to get into the background of some evening news story.

It would be a lot more funny and make more sense if they Photoshopped DR. Who in to the picture instead of putting Hugh Laurie in tanning goggles in there.

Websites with names like "Unexplainable.net" are certified to be a very credible source of information indeed.

There is no time travel, and the picture is probably photoshop. Verified by experts? I'd like to see cross reference of some kind. Just adding the words "experts" or "scientists" doesn't automatically make you credible, although it's clearly enough for all the idiots who prescribe to things like homeopathy and new age bullshit.

And by all means, I am not a government agent trying to simply silence you all.

Hello there. My name is Agent Smith. If you're seeing this... We're coming for you, Mr. Anderson. Lock your doors and windows, but it won't stop us.

This is fake. I don't care what museum it came from, you can tell that the dude is lower resolution than the people around him. Whoever did it turned up the grain filter on the dude too much to try to make him match the older picture, not realizing the older pic was actually pretty good quality. Worth1000 has shopped pictures that look much more authentic than this. Fake as bull tits.
Or you can always reenact things if you have way too much time and resources on your hands.

verified by experts to be a legitimate picture, showing only people wearing period clothing. The guy only looks out of place. He's just a normal dude from the 40's.
