My parents continue to ignore me, yet this doesn't seem to affect me as greatly as it did before.
Poor, poor girl. I had already read about this in your other thread, but it still amazes me every time I read it. You're their daughter for Christ's sake! How can they continue to ignore you for such a trivial thing?

If being the only drug addict at school counts I guess that's it. Assuming that one does not count in the occasional things the others do.

I don't care about being weird/different.

Its funny how that Drowning Pool lyric has become a phrase for a lot of 'weird/different' people. It kind of defeats the point of it.... in a delicious cake of irony. Mmm cake/dead fat frontmen.

When I was about a year old, I got red "areas" on my face, sort of making me look like I'm constantly blushing. When I later in live started school, this got me picked on to the extreme, for 5 years I had very few friends, and was the laughing stock of the entire school, constantly being called such things as "strawberry" and people didn't want me near, because they said that my skin disease was contagious.

Anyhow, after 5 years, I switched schools, the same situation occured there, with people who I thought where my friends, stabbing me in the back.

After a year or two however, it stopped, apperently, all of a sudden I was accepted, I managed to make friends with those who earlier stabbed me in the back (why? I don't know), but the experience made me realize that I'll always be "weird". So, I got rid of my ugly haircut, and changed my unwashed clothes a bit...

And nowdays, I sport a 10 inch bright blue mohawk, a leather jacket with text written all over it and DocMarten boots. I'm also a vegetarian, and I don't drink alcohol (which I've found out is VERY uncommon, especially for someone who dresses like a punk). So generally said, the fact that I'm "weird by nature", made me even "weirder", and inclined to stand out, and I quite enjoy it.

I was born with naturally red eyes (Ocular Albinism) yet my right is darker than my left (which is also my worst eye). All my life I have been called a "witch", a "demon", and "the daughter of Satan" by people who saw my eyes. My parents were banned from their church because of this, and they've never forgiven me for it.
wow ok so first I think that the red eyes are very cool and you sound like a great person which shouldn't had been treated this way but i'm glad that your better and i think some one should just wake your parents up (or beat them with a stick your choice)but anyway I'm happy that your better .

as for me well.....lets start at the beginning i live in Israel (which isn't bad but some people...) and my last name is Braun which of course miss interpreted in Hebrew as brown which is not that bad but since I don't go to the beach that much i have really white skin which gave me nicknames by arses (jack asses in Israel) such as white and brownie (they were not very smart not that they are now) so it went on to middle school when people began noticing my eyes which are green and on the inside there is yellow and brown at least to my knowledge but people start thinking that they are red, purple and blue which i didn't mind and some good Friends that i met didn't either anyway they gave me the nickname weird man (the jack ass ) i said they were not smart so in come high school and the year 2009 and luckily for me i went to a high school with new people and a new beginning and it hasn't been going well since (met new jack asses) but at least I'm keeping positive spirit

btw i forgot a few things first i'm a nerd what can i say i'm a nerd second i don't mind being alone and not going to a party (although i think that is one of the reasons i don't/didn't have a gf) i don't care what people say about me and i'm fine with it

Hmmm...I'm a flat out nerd, I have won state competitionss, qualified for National competitions and qualified for all sorts of camps and sh*t for nerds, like the National Youth Leadership Forum (not an online forum, a week long camp) or the JSA (in the past)I am a uber nerd, with no intellectual peers in my school, even umong upperclassmen. Also, i hate threads like this, because i can either lie or sound like a smug, vain, braggart

Also, i can and have hacked the corporate mainframes of Microsoft, Dell, Sony, Chrysler, and several other corporations, and embezzled several billions in funds.

I work hard, take things seriously, and find the 'cool' and 'funny' people to be profoundly irritating, on top of which I have the association with anime and video games common here, so yeah the usual stuff. I despise soap operas and reality TV. People also say I'm arrogant but that couldn't possibly be true as that would be a flaw.
PS: I'm glad I wasn't here to give you any advice Suiseiseki, I most likely would have said something stupid and bitter, but I'm glad to hear things have improved for you.
PPS: I'm not sure if this is an odd thing to say, but you sound like you must be the coolest looking person ever in real life.

I have Asperger's (or something close to it anyway, I haven't been diagnosed yet) so my weirdness and lack of social skills is called for.
It's a bit depressing though because I get so stressed at places like school that I shut down and can't talk to anyone. It's made me drop out of three schools and I haven't made any friends in the last four years outside the internet. Also I'm tall, find it hard to smile or look cheerful and have permanent dark rings under my eyes so I'm a bit scary lookin'.

Also I have a new motto; Normal people are boring. ^_^

Hmm. I have seemingly limitless energy which, from time to time, exhausts and annoys my friends. Also I'm the only one who can say no to drink/drugs when there's 10 people hassling me to join in. Plus no one else listens to bands like Gallows or Rolo Tomassi.

I'm glad things are improving for you Suiseiseki.

hmmmm what sets me apart? Definitely my love of flips, vaults, handstands, running and climbing. I'm a monkey and I love it. I run everywhere, I hate walking. Also I have ADHD.

Wow that's... Kind of cool... How you got red eyes... I understand that it can be hard for you to fit in with other people but at least you could do something about it with the contacts. Some people have to live with what they got like physical and mental issues.

For me it's basically mental. because when I was born the doctors diagnosed me with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). Later I had loads of problems controlling my temper at school. When I got back to the doctors it turns out I got other stuff too.

- I'm forgetful
- I'm inattentive
- I procrastinate a lot
- I'm a narcissist
- I'm indecisive
- I'm stressed a lot

But that doesn't make me hate myself or want to be someone else in anyway. I'm different and I like it. I would hate to be just like everyone else and not stick out. In a way these things helped me become more social... But in the end half of my education suffered for it.

I may have mentioned this in the previous topic version, but I am unabashedly wierd. I used to run to the cafeteria every day to snag lunch early. I also used a rolling suitcase to carry my books (more space, no need for a locker!). These two things combined into a general dislike of yours truly. My bag would get hidden on occasion. I always found it, so no real damage there.
Then came the Facebook group. There was one completely dedicated to stopping me from getting to lunch. They had a good percentage of the student body on it, and even some people who didn't go to my school! They put my schedule online and had set patrol positions! So, what did I do? I created a Facebook account, joined the group, and poked the leader. (In case you're wondering, I did win this encounter in the end).
Eventually instead of ridicule, I earned respect for not bending to peer pressure, and keeping to my own. I love being myself, and I let no one dictate to me how what I do isnt 'cool'.

My ethnic group makes up less than 1% of the nation I live in. Pretty much anywhere I go I get looks. I've actually travelled the world with a friend. Everywhere we went people weren't sure 'what i was' and stared or asked or seemed amazed that I wear pants and not a loincloth (yes, even in... espcially in enlightened england).

That's not counting my sleeve tattoos.

I'm slightly unusual, but only in the sense that I'm a nerd and I'm pretty fast at many things (eating, reading, metabolizing food, typing). I've never really gotten tired of my weirdness, but it's never negatively affected me much. Sure, some people make fun of me for being different, but I've found a reason to care what those people think. If they think I'm stupid, they don't know me. If they don't know me, then their opinion of me is invalid.

I'm a video game junkie hopped up on caffeine and with slight psychopathic tendencies and a terrible sense of humor. So, yes, I'm weird, but that serves as pretty good entertainment for everyone and gets me recognition.

Happy you made it through all the teasing. I personally think its pretty awesome you have red eyes.
