Sometimes when people ask me I stare at them untill they get nervous. And my eyes change from grey at winter to a blue shade at summer. And I generally creep people out.

Meh. I prefer being different. Hence, metalhead at the age of 10. I wasn't allowed to let my hair grow nor dye it black, so I wore a Metallica-cap whenever I could. Together with my 'Tallica t-shirts and various other merch, I was James Hetfield to most people.

Why my parents let me wear those but not let me dye my hair still remains a mystery though.

There's a fine line between eccentricity and being an outright oddity although I can say I haven't crossed it too often. People generally don't talk to me because of my very cynical and bleak attitude towards everything.

In my year at school there is a group of guys who play CoD4 and halo and all those games. When ever i walk past always the nerd slander and stuff. I play WoW actually so did most of that group at one stage. But they always yell shit out at me. The other week i was talking to one of the guys from the group and i told him i want to be an engineer, And he said 'oh they get paid heaps aye?' I'm like 'yeah a fair bit'. So he went on to try to implement that we 'will' be best buddies later on in life. Then hes like we could go out and you could pay for everything. I ended up saying to him yeah its funny that right now you treat me like shit with all your friends but later in life you basically want to be sucking my cock. He didn't like that. So what I'm a gamer and a nerd and rather be that then a wanker with a door knob up there ass.

no offense... but im really jealous that you have red eyes XD
im not tired of being the weirdo, it comes naturally to me, in fact thats how i made my first friends
but i guess when i moved to college it was a little lonely, my friend asked around and apparantly they were all scared of me because i never smiled in class or talked unless the teacher asked me something
but thats just because im also painfully shy X3

All because of Eye color? That really sucks dude. Meh, people are stupid, what are you gonna do? I would take red eyes over my boring 'ol brown ones any day.
What would you rather be:

A supposed cosplaying nerd, or a red-eyed demon child. (put some serious thought into it)
Red-eyed demon child? Really... Just turn everything on the flipside and enjoy being the weird person... You scare them enough to be called a 'demon' have some fun with it!

Red eyes? Psh, it's who you are... Scare away the weedy ones by being mock serious when you say in a deep voice 'there is only zuul' or something.

Aaaaah... I'd have so much fun. You just gotta scare away the idiots, people brave enough to get past the red eyes are awesome enough to keep around.

Something about me...I have an unusually good memory. A few times people have been creeped out at my ability to recall things that happened years ago to the date.
I can do that to, people tend to think i'm lying or making it up when i recall stuff they said months or sometimes years ago, they tend to look at me wierd until they finally recall what they said.

Btw, Red Eyes = Cool cool cool
Want to trade? =D[/quote]

I have a friend who's exactly like that. We talk about a trivial day we spent years ago, and he just adds, "yeah, that was march 25th.." It is weird, but it's also pretty cool.
I tend to remember the smallest details of things long passed, though I miss the big points.

Anyway, I don't get your story. First of all, both eyes red? Can you please post a pic, because that not only sounds awesome, it is also extremely rare.

And your parents being angry because they were banned from the church? That's not a church I'd go to, even if I were a religious person. What is this? The middle ages? A church/god that rejects its own people just because of one unusual, meaningless difference is not a church/god I'd like to be a part of.

And I don't get it, when you got contacts, okay, you got one contact because only one eye has bad vision, but make it green, so that one eye is green and the other one stays red? That's even more attention grabbing and well, "weird" than having two red eyes.
I don't get it why you decided to have just ONE green eye, even with other people teasing you. It's just impossible. It's an instant lose situation, you're worse off than before. I don't believe money is an issue, because contact lenses are not that expensive, and you could've taken a colorless lens.
It just makes no sense.
Explain plox.

Oh, and well, it's definitely better to have both eyes red, if you really, really can't get yourself another green lens. Think about it. A random person sees someone with red eyes, thinks either that it's a defect of the eyes, or you have lenses, both still normal choices, and I think you'd prefer a logical person to see you as a person with red eyes, than to think you're a weird person who has one red lens and one green lens.

People at my high school think that im the wierd guy who does not trust the government. Wyhich i don't and yes i am a follower of the Communist philosophy. But they took it off the scale when i walked in to school with a Che (the guy who helped Castro overthrow cuba) T-shirt on and i resently had "Sic Semmper Tyranis" on my left arm and "Acta Non Verba" on my right. thats going to stick for a while.

The only weird thing I can think of is that my legs and arms are very bendable. People don't care that much about it tho, maybe a few reactions then and then, but nothing more.

I was born with naturally red eyes (genetic defect) yet my right is darker than my left (which is also my worst eye). All my life I have been called a "witch", a "demon", and "the daughter of Satan" by people who saw my eyes. My parents were banned from their church because of this, and they've never forgiven me for it.

This changed (somewhat) in 2004 when I had to get corrective lenses for my left eye which was becoming worse, and contacts were my only option. I wanted to get a different colored iris to hide my left eye so my optometrist decided to make it green since green is the pposite of red on the color spectrum. So I ended up looking like Suiseiseki prior to Rozen Maiden. This was not a problem until I enter high school 3 years ago, and by then a few had seen RM. So then I became the laughing stock of my school.

Now they call me a "nerd" and a cosplayer" and that I dyed my hair brown (which I didn't). My reputation is so trashed at school that no one will talk to me except for my boyfriend will talk to me. I have to keep Clorox wipes in my locker because someone writes "Desu" all over my locker every day. It gets even worse when I get home, where my parents want nothing to do with me.
Wow... Can I be your friend? But that must have been really awful for you. :(

I'm that person as well, I seem to have lost the ability to talk to people. So I hide in the library at school and hide on the internet at home. It's a shame really, I'm a good friend.
I'm also into Anime, Manga, video games, music and books so that makes me a target. But I'm also big and scary so people tend to fuck right off when I tell them to. ^_^

I'd talk to you. I've got Tourette's Syndrome, so naturally I didn;t have a whole lot of friends. I was the kid everyone picked on, I only had two people who actually wanted to talk to me, and everyday was a living hell. Luckily, once I got into high school, my mental disorder let me be one of the class clowns. I still only had about three true friends, but at least people tolerated me.

In your case though, I gotta feel for you. All that crap because of red eyes. Had I met you, I'd probably be one of the few to avidly talk to you.

wow. i know you probably have had enough of people's advice here, and asked for people to talk about themselves instead, but my moral compass cannot help but advise you.

here's what you should do, depending on where you live and what the police are like.

if you can talk to the police, i suggest you do it immediately. however if they will side with your parents then it's best not to. where i live, there are child cruelty laws, and what they have done contravenes many of them. if the courts and police are corrupt or as religious as the pastor of the church then don't bother.
if the police aren't an option, try the press. any non-religious family would be shocked and outraged at what has happened to you. they will back you up and make it so that you can move to a place where you will not be outcast.
if none of these work, then there are other options. there are journalists who would let you live with them, just for the chance to write your story. this is the sort of thing that will make headlines and sell papers. i'm going to guess you are from america. if this is so, there is so much support open from the media. i can only implore you to try this, because no-one should have to go through what you do.

as for my story, it mostly involves having what is less commonly known as "the hunter's gene" and the fact i act like a bastard. but i didn't take physical bullying like being shoved or people breaking my things very well, and usually with violence, despite the fact i have an insane pain threshold. when it came to a fight i would always go for the kill. and most people who would stick to just name calling i provoked into fights anyway.
the problem with this is that there's not much sympathy for the bullied kid, when that bullied kid has just broken the bully's nose.

wow, im actually quite jealous of red eyes (not so much hte impaired vision thing)

personally, i quite enjoy being the "weird person" - it marks one out from the rest
but it does get tiresome every so often
