I hate to say it, but get some balls: if I see one more person say they've "lost their faith in humanity" I will hunt them down and lynch them.

At least then they'll actually have something to whine about.

I wish I lived in America so I was actually close enough to punch these twats in the shins.
These tools actually visited my school (Fairfax High School) to demonstrate just off of the school property because apparently we are a breeding ground for fags and other nonsense like that. my parents actually stopped me from going to school because i knew i would end up beating the shit out of some of them, not that i am gay myself but people like that are douche bags
... didn't know cigarettes needed breeding grounds...
Oh please, of course then need to breed. Where else do you think these came from?

[small]No, thats not photoshopped, it really is a type of meat based food here in England[/small]

hahaha nice call but i am from America. i just used that word because it is the type of derogatory slander that the church used
I'm not sure they never know what it means, cus then seem to call everyone it, even women. I think they just heard the word and liked it.
I thought they came from the stork...

HEY! Revenge of the Fallen was awesome!
It was better than Transformers 1 but was in no way a good film.

I do believe this has made me lose faith in humanity... That's not all Islam is about. Try actually talking to one of their religious leaders and you'll find a very peaceful people.

Every religion has it's fanatics. Islam has theirs, and Christianity has white power Nazi assholes.

Type [ image ]image url[ /image] but be sure to have the brackets adjacent to the image and /image, I put spaces so it wouldn't actually trigger the code.

'Global warming' in the 'oh crap, we're doomed' sense is artificial in that the rate of global temperature change is considerably higher now that is was during any previous ice ages and started shortly after the industrial revolution. If you did research on it I'm guessing you had a co-author to do all of the typing. Either that or it was published in 'Doesn't have a clue weekly'. Yes it is used as a scare tactic, but everything 'bad' that has ever happened has been used as a scare tactic. Nuclear weapons. Nuclear power. Terrorism. Just because politicians spin things their own way doesn't mean the science is wrong.
Actually i do not write for any sort of paper but thanks for the assumption. i am in 12th grade but regardless i am pretty sure terrorism is bad to most people because even the main branch of the religion that the group breaks off from denounces those tactics. so i am pretty sure the only people who are against terrorists are the terrorists themselves.

but i digress.

Actually the science behind it is modified to seem more drastic at best, and downright made up at worst. for instance the 1995 IPCC report has now been pointed at as an instance where the data was actively tailored to fit the desired result and has been denounced by Dr. Fredrick Seitz, the then president of the National Academy of Sciences, by saying, "I have never witnessed a more disturbing corruption of the peer-review process than the events of this [1995] IPCC report. Also the Geophysical Research Letters recently discovered that solar output accounts for somewhere around 50% of the increase in temperature because it is a variable star that fluctuates in energy output. In addition most global warming occurred pre-1940, before 80% percent of carbon dioxide emissions from human activity existed.

And the Little Ice Age of the 16th century to the mid 1900's throws a major wrench in your beliefs because media at the time was using scare tactics about the temperature being too cold (the Thames and New York Harbor froze over, allowing people to walk from Manhattan to Staten island) also the recent north american blizzard of 2009? too bad we are all gonna burn to a crisp and the ice caps are gonna melt right?

Whenever people do not see sarcasm I die a little.
then don't go to a non-english-speaking country. even places like germany--ok, bad example, but the concept of sarcasm is lost on countries where english is not the native tongue.

i think it developed because our ancestors spoiled us so much with their greed that we have the mental "breathing room" (for lack of a better term) to take a joke and recognize what's being blown out of proportion; whereas someone in a 3rd-world country, who's used to living life in the shitter, wouldn't pick up on it because it's literally a foreign concept

btw, i'm obviously not a scholar on the subject, but the whole "sarcasm: lost in translation" concept is real
