The last Act and Epilogue of MGS4 was emotionally intense. Absolutely stirring. I wanted to write a letter to Kojima like a little kid would write a letter to the president. It was just that good.

other than that, the ending was very good, if not a bit long and yes it was a bit sad as well but deservedly so, it was Hideo's goodbye to the game and the world he created and usually goodbyes aren't happy

That joke was in terrible taste. Funny though.

EDIT: although i could really really do without the Meryl/Johnny discussing the marraige shooting FROGS cutscene. I swear that was done in a movie somewhere and it didn't look good there either.

I on the other hand, love story-driven games. I believe he is making a film about the Solid series though...so you're right in thinking that is more of his forte. The gameplay in all the games i've felt were pretty solid and Metal Gear Online is also loads of fun except for the fact that I get headshot'd every time I spawn from a guy who just turned the corner, raised his gun, and got said headshot.

Edit:Sorry if it seems like i'm trying to sell you the game, I just really fell in love with the series with number 4.
