Try swimming. I generally hate getting all sweaty and hot so I go swimming to keep in shape. 3 times a week, low resistance, you'd be amazed what the results are after you do it for a while.

Not dying. Everyone talks about genetics as the only factor, but exercise and proper diet really does lead to more energy, fewer health problems, and a longer life. I exercise because my grandmother died a horrible death because she had diabetes and didn't take care of it. I'm making sure that won't happen to me. I'm trying to be like Jack Lalanne, the godfather of fitness, 94 years old and still lifting and swimming every day.

Also, looking like a god doesn't hurt either.

Try doing something you like, and remember it really is addictive after a while.

I was inspired to start working out again after I had an inspiring dream. In this dream, all my insecurities were listed to me and I remembered them. So now I can start working on them to cross them off 'My Name Is Earl' style. I'll be hitting many birds with one stone by quitting WoW and instead grind toward a real life goal: epic body.

Also, read this brilliant article [http://www.scribd.com/doc/6649314/Implementing-a-Habit-Tyler-Durden]. I know its about being a pick up artist (It should be a interesting read for men nontheless) but its one of the things that helped me find the motivation to frequent the gym.

Join a local MMA or boxing gym. I have been a member of multiple fitness gyms but to me they were all the same and very little reason to go regularly. I believe that the biggest problem with the large fitness club is sure they have all the new awesome equipment, but you?re just another number in their system. My local MMA gym the instructors made it a point to know your name. A good MMA gym will ask about your goals. If you want to fight the will guide you to that goal. If your goal is to just get in shape they are more than happy to help you out every step of the way. The main thing is with my MMA gym if you miss a couple of classes one of your classmates will usually call and see why you are not there. Some people may not like that but for I like being held accountable for my actions.
