At my old high school, most that happened was a friend of mine falling back in his chair holding a pair of scissors and accidentally cutting a girl's arm pretty deep. He was horrified and the teacher didn't make it any better by looking at him as though he had done it on purpose, this was also in junior high.
At college, I played a game called Humans vs. Zombies, look it up so I don't have to describe it in detail. What needs to be known is it involves nerf gear which only looks like a gun to people who have never seen guns, so the campus allows it. However, many people don't like having it on campus so they harass players and look for sneaky ways to get it banned. One case was someone shouting, while we were around, "Look out, he's got a gun!" I saw he was pointing at our group and I let loose a loud chuckle followed with, "HE'S GOT A TINY PENIS!"
Other than that, had a shooting off campus and the shooter was thought to have fled to campus.
Also, a friend of mine was working at the night desk of our dorm and the desk is set up in the lounge where a group of us were watching movies, and I hear urgent voices on his radio that keeps in contact with other dorms in case of emergency, and gunfire. I get freaked out for a minute, then realize he's playing an FPS, which is where the sound of gunfire came from.
