A girl tried to hang herself with her jacket in the bathroom once, and we had a lot of bomb threats (no kabooming though). I think 1 kid had a hitlist and of course an array of fights. Nothing really out of the ordinary besides the hanging attempt.

We had bears roam around my old high school, as well as mountain lions...

There was this one kid who threatened to throw himself off the roof... but that was dealt with swiftly.

Um... me and a couple friend put keyloggers on teachers computers...

And someone set fire to a bathroom and a trash can.

Pretty mundane if you ask me.

Do my stunning good looks count?
How about these guns!?!? *flexs*

I personally have taken many, many weapons to school. Did you know there are hundreds of ways to kill people with a dull pencil? And even more with a sharp one?

Oh, you mean WEAPON weapons. I think i took a pocket knife a couple of days. My friend put on a hockey mask and tazed people in the hallways one day. That was pretty funny. School was let out because they were afraid someone would be killed.

Nothing ever "bad" Happened in my years in school, the only thing I remember was when I was in a bathroom someone was so stupid they cut out a cardboard gun and hid it in his belt line to make a gun outline in his shirt, so he started bragging to his friends at the sink. Lets say I ran the hell out of there when I heard "dude check out this 9mm I stole from my dads office." I ended up getting him suspended and see a 40 year old counselor chase him down the hall and tackle him to the ground.

This one time when I was living with my grandparents this lady was having a fight with her boy friend in front of her house and after about 2 hours of screaming she went into her house grabbed a thing of gasoline and set herself on fire on the sidewalk screaming, "This is what you did to me!" until she was just a lump of melted person on the sidewalk...<.<
I have to say, if a girl did that to me, I'd be more relieved to be out of the relationship with such a psycho ***** than I would remorseful for her death.

Granted, it would make things awkward when dating:

"Hey baby, want to be my next girlfriend?"
"What happened to your last girlfriend?"
"Oh, she burned herself into pile of ash screaming, 'this is what you did to me' until her last breath."
"... You're funny, here's my apartment key."

I stand corrected, that worked like a charm.

Anywho, my point is that self-flagellation does a better job of nailing you as a crazy person than anything else.

In high school I found a switchblade lying on the floor and turned it in. If I remember right, we had one bomb threat that led to a short lockdown, like only 15 minutes or so. One kid also committed suicide. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. We had some stoners, but they all dropped out by junior year. College was actually quite pleasant. They used the generally tight-knit campus community to their advantage for safety and security. If you tried to pull ANYTHING violent, you became an outcast. But for the average student, life was good.

My experience

Middle School: Condoms found in random places.

High School: EVERYONE smoked or did drugs.

College: Everybody smokes. Drugs are either done more in secret or are just generally used less because they've realized how wasted they got in 'High' School. Oh yea and dirnking. Mostly because we're old enough to. At least most of us are. >_>

Nothing has ever happened here. Since Australia has tight controls on weapons, we don't worry about this crap.

I typed a bloody novel before, but my internet ate it. TL;DR version: In grade 9, someone set my backpack on fire in the hall. In grade 10, someone attacked someone else with a shotgun in the parking lot and the school didn't bother with lockdown because the guy walked away. In grade 12, one of my VPs got fired for getting head in his office during school (LIKE A BOSS). Finally, they keep a shotgun under the desk in the office. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I am glad I went to high school in a small town in the 90's that was devoid of death and fraeky shit. One kid in my class died in a house fire, that was it.

Goddamn, I feel privileged at my school now... We've got nothing but stoners, and I never even hear about them.

The highschool I graduated from had some interesting stuff happen. Once we had a diesel spill and students were getting sick and so they evacuated everyone for a while. Then, in my math class, someone left a punctured can of pepper spray in the trashcan. We all started coughing, the teacher thought it was a joke until the good kids (like me! Yay...) piped up. We finished our class in the lunchroom, it was kind of cool. The main thing I remember happening, although I swear more did, was once a teacher tried to kill a student by choking her.

At the school I had previously attended (my family moved alot) a kid once locked himself in the bathroom with a gun and a girl. We never did find out if it was a gun and a girl or just a gun, but we all had to wait in the gym for hours. There were also the occasional bomb threats.
...Are you fucking kidding me. THE GYM. What was their logic? "Hurr, dere be's a guy with a gun, durr, let's put all the fleshy targets in one big room, that'll keep them safe!"

Seriously?

well you've probably heard of my school nation wide perhaps (at least high school, this was a few years ago), at the mall that was roughly a mile away a guy came in and shot up von maur, killed a good 12 people i think then killed himself. i still remember it like it was yesterday, every kid in school knew about it through texting within the few minutes that it happened but it took the school nearly a half hour to an hour to hear about it and put us in lockdown.

and at school itself, we've had kids bring guns, we've had girls faces nearly get torn off (still remember that one, the girl was standing behind 2nd base in gym class when i was playing shortstop)

there are quite a few more random ones, just dont feel like listing everything out.

Yeah, actually we had a week of bomb threats followed by two kids bringing guns to school. We also had some guys bring a gun to our school once so that the cops would swarm the school and their accomplices could rob the unguarded banks in town.

Fukkin' Indiana, amirite?

when i was in high school in 98-99 (graduated in 00) we had a shitload of bomb threats, like one a week, for a while. But before all those we had an anthrax scare, hazmat team came out and set up outside the school and everything..was very surreal
