For the love of fuck! A game can't be gay! It is not a living creature, therefore it does not have a sexual orientation!

That wouldn't have anything to do with homophobia. It's the youths new word for stupid or lame because they don't like using words with 4 letters or 2 syllables when 3 letters and 1 syllable work.
But it isn't just youth that's uneducated, it's people in general. Seniors show total ineptness with technology, which is really sad because most tech toys come with manuals that explain everything quite well so they either can't read or aren't willing to. Most youths are so used to having everything handed to them that they can't figure anything out for themselves.
Fun statistic for my local area. Somewhere around 80% of the people here can't read above the 4th grade level, and they manage to graduate high school somehow?

Anydangways, while Peaches there goes off and starts being emo in a corner, I'll just say that different people like different things. I do agree, though, that he hasn't grown up with them (seriously, Link to the Past = awesumsawce), and maybe you could take into account what kind of people his parents are (from the look of it, they're probably sports fans who think anything not sweaty and full of pain is "gay").
However, I do agree with you about younger generations not "knowing their stuff". A few weeks ago, I was talking with a little kid about Pokemon (the little dude loved em). He told me, though, that he didn't know who Hitmonlee was, and I wanted to cry. I don't even want to ask kids if they know who Lolo or Geno are. I guess we can't expect them to know EVERYTHING, cuz I mean, heck, we've got over a decade of gameplaying under our belts (some have even more), and those kids haven't even been ALIVE that long. Maybe just give the poor guy the benefit of the doubt, yeah?

Actually, they aren't uneducated, they have probably got a longer education than their parents (I use the term lightly),they're just idiots who don't listen, and assume anything that requires thinking on a level higher than "bash teh buttonzzz" is GAY and RETARDED. This is simply because they have no form of intelligence and hate everything they don't understand. They only play 'sports' games because they are on TV and gain understanding of them from sitting beside their alcoholic parents watching it in the evenings getting brainwashed into thinking it's all for manly men and that kind of ridiculous bullshit.
