Or possibly Atlus games, should they decide to not bother making games now that they could be harshly regulated and probably banned.

The chances of us getting Catherine have just fallen dramatically.
Oh yeah. I forgot about that.
Hm... well, even still, I think they'll still release it. It isn't loli really, is it? Or am I thinking of the wrong game? >>

Also, I'm quite surprised at how many people hate loli here... like really hate it. >>
Wonder what their feelings on furries are <<
To the really old people who'll be regulating this stuff, they won't care. Its all the same to them.

And don't get people here started on furries. The way they talk about them you'd think furries killed they're families or something.

This doesn't ban Nabokov, so you're OK I guess ;-P
:O That doesn't count and you know it!
Guess you'll have to move onto to real underage girls! Which brings me to my point:
This is censorship and thus is badoneoneoneoneoneoneeone.
By banning a form of fetish, they are only leading all people who follow this fetish to have to get their needs elsewhere, wether it be illegal or otherwise. It's cartoons people, you don't have to look at it, I myself find it really gross, but the people have the right to look at imaginary, feelingless drawings, atleast their not staring at sexually abused Nymphets right?

Legally, you probably shouldn't be getting any anyway. Might want to keep it on the down-low. :p
Bullshit, I tell everyone I look at it XD

Seriously though, I don't see the big deal. It's just loli. It's not like it hurts anyone. I can understand why people wouldn't want it as it's... you know, loli, but no one has ever been harmed because of it. At least not to my knowledge.

Eh. Unfortunately, true. Sad old fucks thinking all the stuff today hurts people...

And seriously, why is furry hentai looked down upon so much? I can understand the people who dress up are kinda... weird, but how is just the furry art bad? I've never got the big deal with it :/

Aren't things always supposed to be better in the original?

*considers a graphic novel version of Nabokov's work*

I don't mind as long is it doesn't affect things like, say Higurashi/Umineko no Naku Koro ni, or Elfen Lied, or that type of thing. There's certainly a place in the Japanese culture, and indeed in all cultures, for some things that are deemed 'excessively' violent or whatever, because at the end of the day some of those can be considered art,or have other redeeming qualities to them. The three anime I listed are just for examples, though admittedly Higurashi and Umineko are easily redeemed for their violence and adult content because they are examples of extremely well-done storytelling and development. Likewise, in Western culture, we have things like A Clockwork Orange and Videodrome, which can now be cited as classics of modern cinema. So there's definitely a place in culture for the sort of things that this bill could be used against.

Which is why if the bill isn't enforced against such media then I'm happy for it to be in place if it's protecting people from the unnecessary, uber-extreme stuff, and more importantly, protecting kids against that sort of stuff (not by stopping access to it, but by limiting access even more - anything else is just down to parents). If it starts intruding on true culture, then there's a problem...

[small]Hopefully that all made sense, if not then just ignore it as the ramblings of an outspoken fool... :p[/small]

Uhhh... ew.

Okay, I may look at loli hentai every now and then, but that doesn't mean I'm sexually attracted to real underage people. I mean... unless they're my age since I'm underage, but you know what I mean.

Still, I suppose you're right. It could lead to other things but that doesn't mean it will. They'll have to fulfill their fetish somehow though...

Never really got the hate either. I mean I personally find it odd, but whatever floats your boat is what I say.

I know some people might think this is prejudice. They'll think I'm a bigot who doesn't respect the rights of others. But really, fictional characters shouldn't have rights. Seriously, fuck fictional characters. In the ass with a spiked strap-on if you want. I don't care, they're fictional.

The only time doing something to a fictional character is wrong is if you have to harm a real person to do it. If you dress an eight year old up in a devil costume and then do the spiked strap-on thing, than yeah, you should be tortured to death. But otherwise? They can die in a fire. Hell, if they do it in an entertaining fashion I encourage it.

Haven't you heard of that before? It's the Alan Moore comic he wrote with his wife about the sexual adventures of Wendy from Peter Pan, Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Dorthy from Wizard of Oz :3

While I don't disagree with you, OP, why doesn't Loli have a right to exist? Because you find it disgusting?

It is a little odd but... I find it quite sexy, personally :3

How can you not find something like this [http://tobias.kemonoart.org/FurryArt/Krystal/Krystal%20-%20J.%20Fujita%20-%20Krazoa%20Palace.jpg] cute? :3

They must be stopped.

OT: If they're going to change anime and manga, then I hope they're ready to face the never-ending wrath of every anime and manga fan in the world.

So alot less Fan-service and 13 year old girls, with breasts the size of pregnant women who go to school and flirt with twins for a 'innuendo' gangbang?

Oh my, what will I ever do? I based my whole life upon that notion!

What if it's based off of a real person? :/
