Outkast has some pretty good stuff that sort of combines hip-hop, rock, and electronic.
Also they semi-predicted the Iraq War.

Hollywood Undead is a pretty heavy stereotype rap band(bitches,money,drugs etc) but I actually like them. They have some serious songs like Black Dahlia which is amazingly emo lyrics. They also have a drummer and guitarist and bassist. Which makes them more respectable.

Unfortunately, people focus on people like Wayne and 50 when it comes to judging rap as genre instead of the ones that actually rhyme about life and things that matter.

I like it.
