While an overflow of Nonsensical Threads can be a nuisance, they do technically merit Discussion, foolish as the Discussions may be. (The ones that don't tend to [Hopefully] get Reported, Locked, and merit Moderator punishment)

Plus it should calm down after the whole March Mayhem thing, so just sit back, relax, and look at the glass as a shiny glass.

I've seen the same "Dispel your nationalities stereotypes" thread twice in the past 2 weeks. And I know the people who made that thread saw it on the SA forums or CAD forums or something. Just so generic. Just so boring.

And when you point out to people to use the search function you get blasted. I swear this forum needs some hardcore moderator to crack down on duplicate/stupid threads (actually they nab the stupid threads fairly easily).

Isn't it a good thing that this place is getting more traffic? More people, more discussion/flaming(let's face it, that's what most 'discussions' on this site are). It's a site, it has a forum, it needs people. What if there was no traffic at all? You'd be left with the same stagnant threads(due to the searchbar nazis ruling out the option of starting a new one if it even has the vaguest hint of being done before).

Don't pretend to be the victim here. If you're going to single out two users and call them annoying at least ensure that they understand it is intended as a joke. Otherwise, you come across as very rude and overly-judgemental.

I see no hypocrisy. I did not insult a user directly. Even if it was misinterpreted, I never insulted a user. As you did.

Unless the Sarc Mark becomes free I highly doubt I will be able to add in a "I'm joking" comment.

And besides that, I assume everyone on the Escapist is positive enough to see jokes when they are given, and if they doubt it is a joke, then to PM to see if it is.

I'm saying that every Escapist I've seen, with the exception for few (now including you) are able to take a joke, or assume that there wasn't that much malcontent in the post and move on.
