:O OH GOD I SO CAN'T BELIEVE I POSTED A BAND WHICH IS A SUBGENRE OF METAL ONTO THAT! THAT IS SUCH A TERRIBLY BAD MISTAKE I SHOULD BE PURGED IN THE FIRES OF HELL SHOULDN'T I? OR MAYBE SINCE I DON'T LOOK UP THINGS OR DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE TO NOT KNOW THAT BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE IS EMO AND NOT METALCORE I SHOULD BE KICKED OFF A BRIDGE?! BUT OF COURSE, SINCE I WAS SO STUPID TO PUT 2 THRASH METAL BANDS AND A CLASSIC METAL BAND INTO THE LIST, THEN I SHOULD BE STABBED TO DEATH WITH EVERY SINGLE KNIFE THAT CAN BE FOUND IN A KNIFE FACTORY, SHOULDN'T I?!
Honestly, fuck you buddy, I've been listening to metal since I was 8, and I have been studying music all my life. I know what subgenre is which, and the fact that they're subgenres doesn't mean they are not metal. You clearly have some idea of what you're talking about, but honestly, if we're going to start hissing at every band that has emotive (EMOTIVE, NOT EMO!) lyrics as thus being emo, then I can't believe how badly we're gonna thrash bands like Taking Back Sunday, Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars, etc... For all intends and purposes, an emo band will NEVER play half as fast or half as strongly as Bullet For My Valentine. It's just not a common trait in emo bands. Disturbed is nu-metal, so what? Unless you are terminately brain damaged (which I already have assumed that you are) you will have realized that the name has the word METAL in it, and if you haven't, here's it for you
nu-MEEEEEEEEEETAAAAAAAAAAL!!!
And honestly, this subgenre is as good as any, in fact, this would be the only subgenre I wouldn't always be able to distinguish. What I'm still surprised is how you didn't go around telling the exact same thing to everyone that favoured Disturbed, Bullet for My Valentine, or both. But then again, brain damage.
Now, either cry to my amusement or try to come up with something to counter my arguments, but do it quick, I have an appointment to go play with Metallica since Kirk Hammet has fallen ill.
