I have a fear of spiders, centipedes, and millipedes. Not too irrational I suppose, but I know a person with a really weird one.

A girl at school is terrified of squirrels. She couldn't get to school one day because there was one between the door to her house and her car.

Bees. Not like huge swarms of killer bees (although I suspect I'd be frightened if one of those came my way), but little bumble bees. I've never been stung in my life, and I have a plan to keep it that way.

I have a really odd fear of heights. Top of the largest tower in Sydney? Fine. Putting my hand over the edge on the 4th floor of a shopping center? Save me knight in shining armour!

I used to have a fear of being locked in the toilets after hours. I guess that came from watching too much "Around the Twist" when I was young ;)

I don't have such a strong fear of that now though - I told one of my best friends who, instead of laughing at me, calmly asked why, because if I was locked in the toilet then at least I'd have water and I could make a nest out of toilet paper, and could keep warm with the hand-dryer.

Sounds like an alright deal to me :) There's worse places to be locked up in for a night.

Bee stings are nothing compared to a poisonous catapillar sting. I've been stung by nearly every form of bee or wasp & they hurt a bit, but when i stepped on that damn buckmoth catapiller i thought i had broken my foot it hurt so bad, it hurt for 2 weeks.

Craneflys.

God damn them.
Oh my, this. A hundred times. Spiders? Usually no problem. Wasps? Bees? Beetles? All fine.

Fucking Craneflies/ Daddy long legs? *runs in terror*

Just can't deal with them >.< They're like what? A few cm in length/height and I'm over 6 feet.

But they're so fucking scaryy =(
Holy shit. This times a million. I don't know why craneflies are so freakin creepy but they are. That and camel crickets. I can kill any other insect in the world, but those two just literally make me frozen in fear.

Also, I have recently discovered that I have a slight fear of mascots. But only when they're up close, like less than 5 feet away. Their huge heads and silence freaks me out...

I really don't like moths, but only if they are inside my flat. It's not a real phobia because I don't freak out but I really dislike them. I just want them to stay away from me and stop bumping into my head. I will get the vacuum cleaner out in the middle of the night if I see a moth in my bedroom.

I'm fine with bees, wasps, other creepy crawlies and even spiders (though I flush spiders if I can catch them) and butterflies but the moths will have to go.

Fun fact:
"Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia" is the fear of long words :D

For some reason, I am always a little worried that I will trip and take my toenails off. Yeah... I have never understood why either.
Me too, I never pick things with any of my nails because I'm scared they'll rip off.
Yay! I am not alone in my stupid fear about taking toenails off! :D
I actually saw a girl do the exact thing once, On a school camp. It came clean off

A fear of the number 13. Really it's just a number it doesn't mean bad things will happen when it comes up.

Mirrors.
I don't like being in rooms with lots of them because it seems like a horror movie waiting to happen.

Spiders. I like having them around to eat other bugs, I know they for the most part are scared of me, but holy crap when I see one I still jump.
