I thoroughly enjoyed Asylum and I'm happy to see that it looks like they stayed true to it's strengths.

And once again the Batman is the blandest character in his own game. Such a shame. And he can be so awesome you know, just read The Dark Knight Returns. He can be as mad as the rest of them, instead of a stoic martial arts robot.

Ah well, the rest makes up for it. That combat makes my mouth water once again. Not to mention the city itself, the bad guys, friggin' everything.

By the way, anyone noticed the two weird voice glitches in that trailer? Like they played a bit in reverse?

yeah I noticed that too.
As for batman being bland, I can't really defend it, nor am I trying to, but te fact that he almost dropped two face into his own acid pit clearly got his anger after being shot across to me.
maybe this is one of those games where you need to look past the rather bland voicing/movements in order to appreciate it.(I mean, he reacted really slow when he saw that laser sight)

Well, this was awesome. I love this kind of hilariously funny (and completely unrealistic) fighting - Ryhzuo put it the right way. Although they were "cheating" on the combo count once in the video

And Luke Skywalker as the Joker continues to be a genius - that voice acting alone made the first one a great game.

Sadly that will be Mark Hamil's last role for the Joker which makes me sad D=.

Steve Blum is one of my favorite voice actors i always love any role he plays =D.

Oh man. I know it's a really pedantic critism, but why do all the goons flop to the floor once they're defeated? I don't understand why they can't just hit the ground in a realistic fashion, is that truly too much to ask?

Well think of it this way. If you're on the receiving end of a punch by the Goddamn Batman, are you going to just flop down like a stringless marionette, or are you going to get some airtime?

I'm looking forward to this game immensely. Catwoman's puns were a little annoying, but the developers at least seem to be aware of it, because Batman is as annoyed by it as we are by the looks of it. And for some reason I'm a lot more forgiving for intentional flaws, so long as they're as small as this.

She looks like her combat style is very fun, though, now I need to go find some videos of her moving around the city to get an idea of what that's like.

Batman I like the style of entirely, but the diving to get speed thing (which realistic compared to everything else about him) doesn't appeal to me because I hate sacrificing the high ground under any circumstances.

Okay that wasn't bad but I have 2 complaints.

1)THE PUNS!THERE EVERYWHERE.
2)When Batman takes out the ONE guy with the gun 50 people get frightend and run away like wusses not realizing that Batman only stands a chance against 10 guys at once.

Already explained the puns, but come on give the game continuity a little credit. Batman is a legend, none of the mooks there have probably ever even seen the Bat, all they know of him are the stories of how he's brought down countless criminals, ranging from Bane, the super-tank monstrosity, Poison Ivy, Zzasz, the Joker, and even their own boss on dozens of occasions. It'd be much more unrealistic for all of them to think they would stand a chance against him at all.

Catwoman's puns don't really bother me, to me it fits in to the playfullness of her character. Also I don't know what it is but something just seems a little off to me. Can someone, maybe, point something out that doesn't seem right.

Catwoman is annoying. Don't like like her voice, or dialogue. Dent's voice acting also seems a bit off.

I don't recall any player demand to play as Catwoman in the next Batman game after Arkham Asylum came out.

if they were to poll that most boys would say yes the second they saw her walk.
