Meow, I know what you are saying but, Catwoman's purrrfect puns are pretty much necessary if they want to stay true to the comics.
It does look like they have fixed the few flaws in an already fantastic combat system. The biggest problems I had in AA were when Batman would take an overly longtime to do some overly elaborate attack or counter or the speed of the action would slow to a dramatic crawl just as some other thug is about to attack. then because "cinematics" have their grip on you in some lengthy attack routine and no matter how much you hammer counter, you just won't be done showing off in time to prevent having your combo interrupted.
I also hated the guys throwing things from a distance. Not unavoidable or a deal breaker by any means and only really annoying in huge brawls where there is someone in the way of a batarang toss but still, very nice to see they added a catch option.

I'm surprised nobody else was a little confused with the stair animation. He's the Batman, so what makes him walk up stairs like he has a stick up his butt? I'd expect him to crawl, or at least sneak up the stairs. In a game so dependent on atmosphere, anything that breaks the feel of the game really messes everything up. I felt that happening all the time throughout this trailer.

Hm. Well, the writing certainly isn't Tolkien, and the fighting looks like they decided cutting out a quarter of the frames would make it more awesome for some silly reason, and...I dunno, there's something just not right with Batman's face, I feel. It's too smooth, too plastic like. Or maybe that's just because I got used to the stubble he had by the end of Arkham Asylum. Whatever the case though, the game still looks fun. I'm curious if it's gonna be somewhat like Assassin's Creed 1 with the side missions though; a few choices to choose from, Interrogate, Steal, Rescue, Bribe, and then move on to the mission itself. Kinda got that vibe for a few seconds. Still gonna buy it, whatever the case. Fun fun fun Batman. Fun.

Yeah, he's pretty old in that. But Bats doesn't have to be old to have the personality he has in The Dark Knight Returns. But I actually liked the point of TDKR; you have to be just as crazy as the crazies to stop them.James Joseph Emerald said:

But I suppose that if they can use the stoicness to make him a more interesting character, like Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, I'd be satisfied as well. As long as he isn't just plain boring and overshadowed by everyone else.
Whoever was playing that was really good. Or maybe they made it easier to get higher combos in the new game...

Go ahead and watch, it doesn't show anything that hasn't been said in basic "get you interested" magazine previews. They edit out any plot points by masking them backwards (only happens like twice, anyway,) and it seems to be the very beginning. It'll give you a feel for the game and leave you waiting for more! (at least that's how it was for me.)Zing said:

I mean, Joker came about a second away from putting a bullet in her brain, Batman saves her, and she doesn't even react or change her tone of voice. She just acts all confident and self assured, like she was the one who noticed the laser when she clearly did not.

I wasn't paying attention due to the sexy tone. Besides, she's only in the game for like 10% of the time. we haven't even seen the Riddler's new look in video form. Plus, I still think Harly will be more annoying.
you don't seem to know that Bender's the cheapest voice actor they could find. and at least one is voiced by Wolverine's main voice actor, read: not Hugh Jackman. I wonder who nolan north will voice...
