The trailer isn't very good. The constant camera cuts were annoying, and it is a little bit too frantic. But the combat does look fun, and I'm still really excited for the game. There is only one thing about this trailer that really bothered me, and that's the lack of Clint Mansell's score. I'm still kind of anxious about what he's going to do with the soundtrack.
Still, I know they're adding a lot of the customization back from the first game, but I would like to see what exactly they're doing. So hopefully the next trailer won't be just about combat, and it will show more of the depth BioWare says the game has.

They shouldn't have released this. I was so hyped...now...i dunno. I got some serious worries.

If they wanna get people hyped for this, and they are. Considering the hype that is already there...why release a craptacular demo of combat like this. It just hurts the epicness. Seriously damaging...
I saw this and was expecting to feel more pumped after, and yet i feel deflated. This was not a good way to advertise the epic me3. It was actually painful to watch.

If they wanna get people hyped for this, and they are. Considering the hype that is already there...why release a craptacular demo of combat like this. It just hurts the epicness. Seriously damaging...

Oh... Wow.
Shitty animations, terrible, constant dialog, combat identical to ME2, no new powers and boring enemies and environment.
Not saying the game itself can't still be good, but I am losing hope quickly.

I'm currently playing ME2 (the 5th time since I lost all my previous save files) and I have to say I'm disappointed. They didn't make anything new except grenades (which were in ME1 and worked well) and added some chat between your team which will probably be annoying as hell after the first 10 fights... so yeah, not impressed at all.
Maybe EA wanted to cool the fans off a bit. If the game gets overhyped to much and doesn't fulfill all expectation (which it 100% will not), the game won't be sold to well.
So EA makes a serious looking, bad trailer to cool the situation down. Or at least I hope it's so.
This is ME 2 with Cerberus as enemies and a stupid Omin-Sword (which makes no sense since your omin tool is a hologram).
I'm not saying the game is/will be crap. I'm just saying that if we go with what we have seen so far, the game made just 1 step forward and 2-3 steps backwards. It gave us grenades back and added annoying sounds and bad animation.

...Garrus? Is that you? I...I think it might be you, but I'm having difficulty seeing your scarring... It's like it's there, but only sometimes... Did you get them fixed? Because I like you better with the scars...

I also hope that Cerberus has a convincing reason for attacking you considering how much the Illusive Man invested in you and how much you both ultimately want the same thing even if your methods are different.

why does cerberus have rocket boots? is this common in the mass effect universe and if so where can i get a pair?
I must say, though. My two favorite characters are back. I played through ME2 with Garrus as a permanent member. I love that guy! Having Liara on the team in the Shadow Broker DLC was great as well.
I didn't like Ashley much, though, but better than Kaiden. She was awfully stuck up in ME2. She'll come begging to take her back on the team, though. And her apologies better be good.
And I really didn't expect Liara to go down like that. She's a freaking badass in the comics.
I bet someone planted a reaper artifact in his quarters, hidden away in a cupboard, and is now all pissy because of that indoctrination thing.

I didn't expect Cerberus to go on the full-out assault on you.. I mean, I can imagine they're not very happy with me blowing that collector station up and generally distrusting that prick of an Illusive Man because he lured me into a trap .. but attacking me instead of the reapers seems silly. Though even if you were Cerberus' pet and let him have that station and trusted him completely, he'll still attack you in ME3.Android2137 said:
