Hey all, who else remembers this classic.
Remembers? Shit dude, I own all three seasons on DVD.
Oh good god where did you get them?
Apparently (correct me if I'm wrong) he got them from Amazon... I got mine off of Best Buy online a while ago, but they might still be on there...I remember when each arrived in the mail...I spent the following Saturday watching the entire season...No breaks-just 20 straight episodes of Beast Wars with a pizza by my side...

Best. Show. Ever.

I remember waking up at 6 am for it, I was 6 years old at the time.

Season 1 (4 discs) was off the shelf at HMV. They can order them in as well, but ordering through HMV is like pre-ordering Duke Nukem Forever. Amazon.ca had it, .com probably does too since .com has infinitely more than the .ca site sells.

Season 2 (2 discs) I got through Amazon.ca, HMV won't stock it.

Season 3 (2 discs) was ordered through HMV, took seven months to arrive. Like season 2, they don't stock it on the shelf for some reason. Wasn't available online at Amazon.ca or I would have done that.

All together, the three seasons ran just under $100CDN. 50 for S1, 25 or so for S2 and S3.
Cheers... I think I may have a look round and order season one. It's the only season I watched properly :D

Beast Wars was sadly looked down upon at the time by many fans of the original but it was damn good.

Beast Machines wasnt that good unfortunately although it had a lot of nods toward the classic transformers which were its saving grace.

Watched it ages ago, plus I have a memory to make a goldfish look good

Form what I do remember, it was by far the best Transformers series I've ever seen

The glory that was a Tarnsformers done in CGI showing more plot and character depth than many American cartoons did.
So I just wanted to start this thread, to see what other people's favorite scenes, characters, etc were.

My favorite character-Depth Charge-He had an attitude, hunted Rampage, and transformed into a freakin' Manta Ray
My favorite scene-Dinobot's death in Code of Hero-Powerful emotional, and Dinobot had just kicked so much ass...
Definitely when Cheator becomes a transmetal 2. It happens, then he is detected by the Predacons sensors on their ship.

Megatron turns to someone (forget who) and says..

"It seems someone is out for an evening stroll.... at mach 3.. hmmmmmmm yeeees."

Classic.

Also when all the Maximals started making fun of a megatron, all of them would "hmmm, yeees" whenever he was around.

When Rhinox was corrupted and went bonkers on the predicon ship and beat the crap out of everyone.

and finally, All hail Dino Bot. Coolest Transformer ever bar none. Cept maybe Unicron.

I remember this! (just). Didn't one of them turn into a duck? I don't know why, I just seem to remember one that could turn into a duck.

I freaking loved this series when I was a kid. Only ever saw the first season on TV though, the two last ones I watched as late as year. Even then I found them good. For the time that was some damn amazing animation. Some episodes were pretty stunning as well, I remember one with a flying island that gave me thrills every time I watched it.

What I found pretty sad about it was that once it went into the second season the story became a lot better but the series as a whole it became more ridiculous. Transformers was always there to promote toylines, but in the first season it was not all that obvious. Later on when they went all shiny, switched bodies every five episodes and introduced new freaky characters it became painfully obvious that they had a toy company pulling their strings. Also it started to weave it together with the other Transformer series which I was never interested in, so it kind of lost it's charm for me.

Still a legendary series. My favorite character was Rattrap, I'm guessing most people hate him though ^^

Season 1 is fully half of the series, and on its own, doesn't really change things up much. Season 2 delves into the Transmetals, which was good or bad depending on how you liked the original forms. As well, Season 2 introduced the Fuzors, a definite toy tie-in move but not that bad. Season 3 came out with the Transmetal II line, which is my favorite. Red Dragon Megatron! FUCK YEAH! My only beef with the series is that the Transmetal II forms were given mostly to the characters who already had Transmetal I bodies, leaving some characters still unchanged. To me, that was a ripoff, I was dying to see a Transmetal Rhinox. Though on the plus side, giving Transmetal Optimus a new Trans2 body got rid of the hideous ape face, and gave him back the Optimus G1 look.

No I am not an obsessive geek... Ok, maybe.
I thought Fuzors were season 3... Huh. I remember catching the odd Transmetals episode. Transmetal Cheetor was awesome as I remember. Tarantulus will always be my favourite though :D
