James lifted the television set up from the stand with a great deal of effort, headed back through the window, carefully making sure not to trip, and dropped the television over the railing, aiming at and hoping to hit one of the zombies below. But he didn't wait to see what happened, instead James quickly returned inside. "Where should we go next?" James asked his partner in a hurry.
Pulling off his pack, he quickly fished out a can of Axe body spray and one of his lighters, then slowly proceeded to search for his crowbar through the bookshelves on his side of the room.
The bookshelves fall, you hear another roar from one of them, as the monster is trapped between 2 bookshelves.
Tyler see's his crowbar peeking out of one of the fallen bookshelves.
Thinking quickly, Tyler took aim and threw the can at the monster's face, hoping it would hit the can with its tongue, while not opposed to a direct hit, either. After throwing the can, he dashed for his crowbar.
"Whoa, did...Did it just eat that can of Axe? Wow. I never knew that the stuff smelled that good." Kevin said, as he stopped his run and watched the creature from a safe distance.
"So, now what?"
Nice timing. By the way, my character gave you his name, shall I just assume you gave me yours, too, or no?
"Well," said Rob slowly, "it seems quiet enough in here. We could make our way upstairs, see if there's anyone left in the building?" He rest the shovel against his shoulder, and noticing a flash of darkness on his white sleeve, turned his head to look beneath his arm.
Blood from the zombie he had beaten earlier had stained the underside of his sleeve, which was rolled up to the elbow. It had also begun to dry against his arm, dark and oozing. The metallic scent wafted upwards, and Rob felt a dizzying rush throughout his body. His vision blurred a moment and he saw stars. Leaning against a nearby counter, he lowered the shovel and took a deep breath.
"God... I hate the smell of blood." He shut his eyes tight a moment, and when he opened them, glanced around the room once more, which seemed darker than before.
"Right.. Stairs down that hallway, I think.. What d'you reckon? It's either up, or the streets."
You both leave the room and close the doors. You hear a loud explosion. As you peek back into the room you see a huge pile of burning bookshelves where the monster was trapped.

As you both sigh in relief, Leanne finds something behind the desk. "Whoa.. Is this real?!"
She picks up a gun from inside a drawer.
"Oh shit. I forgot! I needed a ladder from there! Shitshitshitshit." Kevin shouted, as he burst through the doorway, into the burning room.
Kevin looked around.
"Ah! There it is!"
Kevin ran towards a ladder, and tugged on it. C'mon, get off of that damned rail.
He finally gave it one big pull and yanked it off the rail.
Then he dragged it out of the room and up the stairs.
"It feels pretty heavy," Kelsey commented, "so I'm guessing it's real. The fake ones are pretty light. I guess you can hang onto that, unless you don't want to, but be careful!" She handed it back to Leanne.
Tyler grabbed the back end of the ladder and ran with Kevin.
"Oh god, I can't believe I forgot to say this. I found someone in another room, but she's locked in there. The only way out is through the hole in the second floor. You all stay in the doorway, I'll try to get the ladder down to hole to her safely." Kevin shouted as he carried the ladder up the stairs with Tyler.
