You search the library upstairs, but can't find a ladder, seems they only use small bookshelves down here. Although you remember seeing a big ladder in the downstairs library where Tyler was...Kevin walked closer to the hole yet again.
"Well, shit, there aren't any ladders up here. Although I slightly recall seeing one downstairs in another room, I'll go get it." He shouted back down into the other room.

Breathing as quietly as possible, Tyler attempted to sneak closer to the monster.

You grab the monsters leg, but before you can pull it off the bookshelf, it jumps again, taking you with it. It lands on a table.Jedoro:

The book hits the monsters head and it flinches. It hears your footsteps running towards it, as you swing your crowbar, the monster grabs it with its tongue and throws it between some nearby bookshelves."Oh shit, Tyler!" Kevin shouted.
He ran after the monster, pipe in hand.
"Goddamnit, get the fuck back here!"
Kevin looked around, and then positioned himself close to a bookshelf.
Then he used some rope which he put into his pack and tied his pipe to the bookshelf, by looping the rope through a hole in the wood.
"C'mon you monster, come get me!" He shouted while tossing his pipe onto the ground next to him.
He ran after the monster, pipe in hand.
