Portal : Too short, It gets boring the 6th time playing, I end up wasting 20 minutes everyday I play falling infinitly because I can.

Assassins Creed : Not much customization, For the important assassinations you can just run up and kill them you don't have to be a stealthy badass, Too easy.

Love those games

Silent Hill 2:
- The voice acting (as was mentioned by a previous poster) is poorly delivered on occasion
- The camera can sometimes irritate the player
- Navigating the-
I'm being too kind... troll time :)

- The voice acting is awful! "Mama"? Really?! Who wrote this, the Japanese?!
- The controls are awful. Use the tank controls and you can barely defend yourself, use the 2D controls and you can't see what you're supposed to defend yourself from!!
- The camera obscures everything. Given how often it changes, it can not only put your sense of direction to the test, but really mess with controls. I was running in circles at one point thanks to this!
- The, um, sorry, I can't think of any more. Other than those, Silent Hill 2 really is perfect :/

Yoshi's Island is a formulaic, unchallenging kiddie game with bright, unrealistic visuals.

Planescape: Torment has a clunky interface and terrible party A.I. Also, the combat simply isn't fun, no matter what class you play as. Which is bad as it becomes increasing common as the game goes on.
Ah. Beat me to it, though I'd simply shorten it to complaining about the sheer amount of combat later on. Looking at you, Curst.

Also, that is not, technically, combat. It's an excuse to spam Mechanus Cannon, the bestest spell of all time.

Breath of Fire III.

I can't figure out a single bad thing about this game, no matter what. The fishing could've been more fun and complex, but that's about it. And they improved it in BoF IV.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter.

You're literally given a one-hit-kill move at the beginning of the game, and while it does increase the D-gauge (which once filled causes a game over) it can easily be used to dispatch all of the games bosses in a single hit, as long as you use it sparingly outside of bossfights.

Samurai Warriors 2: Needed more button mashing in my opinion...no actually I'm going to cheat slightly and insult its expansion (xbox combined the two into one game when you bought the expansion).

The expansion brought in all those characters I hate from KOEI games i.e the take-one-trait-and-exaggerate-it ones. There was a gender ambiguous man who was an attempt to have a confused gay character which failed miserably and was mildly offensive, a girl who could do no damage whatsoever and brought shame to the good female characters by swooning left and right, an overwight man with an annoying voice who just wanted to play Kemari and some cross dressing bloke that used a sitar as a weapon.
I thought I'd be the only one trashing Samurai Warriors 2 in this thread!
But yeah, I that stupid survival mode/castle crap was unbelievably tedious and boring. And it could definitely do with some better looking environments.

I however, actually thought Kojiro Sasaki was awesome in Xtreme Legends, assuming that's the mildly offensive gender confused stereotype you were just talking about. He's nowhere near as offensive as Zhang He from Dynasty Warriors, in any case.

All the cut scenes tend to hog up all the fun.
Its difficult to play for most people.
Its got a tendency to get repetitive.
It can get boring.

HL:S has terrible graphics even though it was supposed to be a remake (for some reason I prefer the original HL above 2)
also Gabe Newell is a troll with the adding of baxes that you need money for to open up

I made an account just for this thread.

This is a game with literally, no fucking graphics. Everything is represented by obscure and hard to read, monospaced ASCII chars.
The story is absolutely horrible, to be honest there is no god damn story. You are just thrown in a randomly generated world.
Your sole motivation is to lead a band of non trained, neanderthalic dwarves from wilderness to a civilization in a timespan of months of real time, only to get your citizens slaughtered and have your work thrown to the bin in seconds by an archdemon, or even worse, a band of goblins.

btw

...

PERMADEATH.

is a *****.

The learning curve is -belive me- vertical. There is no tutorial. The best "lets play" is done by a guy with irish accent.
There is a bug with materials and a bad quality tin trap can hold the migthiest of the overlords of hell.
I have 4gigs of RAM and the loading times are longer than in any currentgen 3D game (I remind you...a console, ascii game)
The game leads to both mirth and frustration.

The battling in Mother 3 is boring, repetitive, and too difficult if you can't beat Fury of the Storm on Expert++.

Yeah I think it was Kojiro Sasaki the one with white face paint that talks about dying all the time and tries to kill Mushashi Miyamoto every chance he gets only to realise that he in fact loves him. I'm just a little annoyed that the only character I liked from the expansion was Toshiie and maybe Shibata(?) I thought we had gotten away without the Dynasty Warrior trait exaggeration.

Zhang He is actually an Eunuch so I'm okay with his hormone imbalance thing he has going on. Slightly rambling but: as for Ranmaru Mori I had no idea was a guy or that he was sleeping with Nobunaga as well as Nōhime till one of the characters referenced it. He is gender ambiguous to the extreme.

Have you tried mercenary mode from the expansion? 100% that with all the swords is tedious as hell.

Baldur's Gate 2 has an outdated UI, and the learning curve for anyone who isn't familiar with D&D is high. While there are many party members to choose from, you will have to have Jan Jansen, unless you're yourself a rogue, since he is the only one you can properly develop as a rogue. Some sidequests are bland and forgettable.

Pool of Radiance

Its a has been. Nobody has heard of it. The Infinity engine games did the D&D thing better. The gameplay is dated. It had amateurish bugs, the real sequel Curse of the Azure Bonds wasn't as good as it and the fake sequel PoR 2 trash.
