As he was walking through the restaurant, he heard some muffled shouting.
"What?" He thought. Oh well. Better just keep heading back to the front door.

As he walks into the lobby, he reminded himself not to touch the door.

Entering the area where the shouting and screaming were coming from, Jordan sees three men, one in between the other two. It appeared that the one had just broken up a fight between the asian looking guy and a older man, who looked like a employee at the hotel.

"Jesus, what the hell is going on in here? You got me all worked up thinking someone had been hurt!"

Turning to the person who appeared to have broken up the fight, a rather unremarkable man with what shaggy blonde hair,

"Hey, you know what's going on here man? Did you break this up? And what the hell is with the freaking knives you two?!"

Kaze lowered his knee, stopping in his tracks of delivering terrible pain, swatted Matt's hands away and got off.
"You're lucky, fat man. Now would you mind telling us all why in the nine hells you were going to swat me with a wrench?!"
He roared at the man, noticeably angry, before picking up his chef's knife from the floor.

Shivering from the difficulty of not scratching at his palms, Remy rushes into the bathroom, roughly shoving aside the door. Using his elbows in place of his hands, he clumsily turns the water to hot. He pushes his hands under the flow, rubbing at them almost viciously, trying to get the vile infection - or whatever it was - from his skin.

"What the hell WAS that stuff?" Remy starts as he realizes he dropped the sample he'd scraped onto his medical scissors. And his scissors, apparently.

Picking his wrench up off the floor and taking his toolbox from the counter, Jim turns to Matt.
"I was just trying to save us all! You see that!" Jim says, pointing to the knife in Kaze's hand, "He took a knife! Sure there are no employees around, but there's no reason to pick up a deadly weapon! He was trying to go out the back door of the kitchen when I caught him! He was probably trying to get away so he could reappear later and slit all of our throats! I figured he might attack if I tried to talk to him, so I went for the sneak attack, when Karate Kid over here pulled some kinda ninja move on me. I say we tie him up, so that he doesn't try to kill any of us."

Before Matt could react, Kaze interrupted, this time furious.
"PERHAPS you haven't noticed, but there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with this place! There is no one who can explain all this, and we are all wary to not run into any kind of danger. It's only natural to arm oneself as much as possible. Joseph has one, too. Get into your thick, paranoid head that we are all in the same fucking boat!"
He roared at the man again, but lost all motivation in the end the sentence. He sighed, became silent and stared blankly in front of him, his posture exuding hopelessness.

<spoiler=Post #2>I figured it only fair I could defend myself, as my first post had to be the initiating one to get things going and thus be short.

Matt doesn't have a mullet. Not even close. His hair is just long enough in the very front and back to reach down that far.

Matt shook his head at Jim, annoyed at the racket he was making. "Look, it may have gone over your head, but that shit covering the door isn't going to let us out. We have to cut through it. If you have a problem with that..." He turned to Kaze, holding his hand out. "You'd better let me hold on to that."

"Damn, just when it was getting exiting in here..."

Ecky said as he ground down the exhausted and finished cigarette butt against the underside of his skateboard, making a tiny circular black ash mark that fit in quite well with the many other such marks the board appeared to have. He discreetly pocketed a fair amount of currency from the tip jar beside him on the empty bar as he stood up and stretched out, making his way to the kitchen while everyone else was preoccupied trying to kill each other.

mshcher, care to remind me what the kitchen looks and consists of?

The high counter where the waiters pick up the plates is on the right of the kitchen doors and the entire kitchen is behind that. There is a swinging door that allows you past the counter into the rest of the kitchen. The back door of the kitchen is opposite the front doors, with the walk-in refrigerator and walk-in freezer on either side of it. There are shelves of dry and canned goods next to the walk-in fridge, including racks of spices, bins of flour, and gallons of cooking oil.

In the main area of the kitchen, there are several prep tables with smaller pots hung above and larger pots stacked below. Against the far right wall is the 6-burner gas stove, griddle, and deep fryer. In the dishwashing area in the back right, there are tubs, rags, detergents, a mop and bucket, and a gallon jug of chlorine bleach disinfectant.

There are fire alarms and fire extinguishers by the front and back doors.
The fight was taking place in the kitchen, so you wouldn't be leaving it behind by going in there.

You might think something's fair, but if you keep on doing things like that without clearing them with me, you will end up as monster chow, no matter how long your metaphorical tranchcoat happens to be.

This thing is really starting to fill up with chatter, which makes it harder for me to keep track of the actual game, so if something can be communicated in PM, do it that way. Rather than calling someone out, PM me - preferably with a link to the post in question and let me deal with it.

The man, who hadn't introduced himself, (Kaze) produced a turning point for Paxton with this speech. Paxton, not taking great notice earlier to the odd covering on the front doors and windows in his post-slumber haze, suddenly felt very veunerable. Standing near the doorway of the back exit, he moved to pick up one of the fire extinguishers.

"I don't know what good knives or anything will do to whatever is keeping us here... But for now I think we should stay together in a few small groups and investigate the possible exits" suggested Paxton. He was a little scared now, but he tried his best to hold onto a calm demeanor.

"OH, SO I'M THE PARANOID ONE NOW? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO THINKS THAT SOMETHING IS HOLDING US HERE? AND WHAT MIGHT THAT BE KID? THE DEVIL? A DEMON?" Jim shouted at Paxton, shaking his head and balling his hands into fists at his sides. Walking over to Paxton and and poking him in the chest.
"NOTHING AND NOBODY IS KEEPING US HERE, I'M SURE THAT THAT...THING ON THE DOORS AND WINDOWS WILL GO AWAY SOONER OR LATER, WHATEVER IT IS."
Taking his toolbox and wrench, Jim pushes past the others, walking out to the restaurant.
I need another drink, he thought to himself.

As Joseph was walking through the retaurant and into the lobby, he heard a lot of shouting.

"What?" Joseph mumbled. "What's going on?"

The mechanic, Jim, walked out of the kitchen and looked very distraught.
"Uh-oh, it might not be a good thing to let him see me with this knife right now." Thought Joseph as he concealed the knife with his jacket sleeve.

"I need to find a way out of here now" Echoed through his head as he strode into the lobby.

"Heh. Yeah, you are the paranoid one." Kaze spoke under his breath to avoid more conflict as Jim steamed out of the hallway.
"Now then.." He spoke aloud to himself, fondling his knife, and turned to look to the hallway at his left.

Matt asked Kaze to give him the knife. He never responded.

That little foreign asshole ignored him! Well, if he wanted to have his head busted open with a wrench, he could go ahead.

Taking one last courtesy glance around the kitchen, Matt slowly stepped back into the restaurant on his way to the lobby. Maybe that big room behind the lobby would have an exit. If that was a crapshoot, maybe there would be some sort of viable exit on the roof. Surely the mechanic could get them up there if he was done being crazy. If that proved to be fruitless, there was only one option: Find the person who did this and make them undo it.

These thoughts worked their way one-by-one through his head. Would they lead anywhere? Who knew? Matt was always more one for thought than actions. That's how it being an actor was. You needed to learn to be who the director told you to be, and that meant letting go of your own will sometimes.

Alex sat behind the bar nursing his cool lemonade stopping occasionally to scratch his head. So theres something on the walls huh. That complicated things... why would that be there slime on the inside of the hotel if this was just some stupid stunt? The slime could be linked to the wretched smell and the flies but how? Was it possible that he was dealing with something different. Something unknown to mankind? Unlikely but not impossible. New animals are discovered everyday it is possible that one could be covering this hotel. No, that's stupid. Maybe the slime is part of the experience, maybe the whole plan is to piss off the people here, not outside.

Maybe, and this was a very unlikely maybe, this was a reality TV program. More likely then a new species of animal wrapping itself around a building. He didn't watch much TV but he remembered watching something on the plane flight. It was a movie where a mans entire life was a TV show. He didn't like it much but that wasn't the point, there could be security cameras around here somewhere, as well as bugs. There would be plenty of bugs all around the place to capture all the conversation for the idiots outside.

"Fuck them" he muttered "how about I ruin your stupid little game, how would you like that?"

"You should have known better then trying to spy on me" he said as he ran his fingers around the skirting boards and under all the tables. Those would be the obvious places to hide a bug, there could be some built into the tables, under the floor or above the roof but he had to search for them anyway. Alex ran around the restaurant he needed reassurance that this experience was easily explained.

I probably don't find listening devices but do I find anything? And sorry for not posting last round, twas my bad.
