Hide and go seek; with guns.
Yeah. Forget the past couple of games with enemies popping out and you shooting them, this is going to be more like the Pacific missions from CoD 5. If Treyarch does this game realistically, then the experience is gonna be akin to playing those "find the image" picture games. Execpt if you don't circle the picture in 5 seconds, you die. And your pencil lead breaks constantly.

Oh, I want to be the first to call a situation where Agent Orange will be greatly involved.
Bit late my friend, already called it..only my bet is it'll be napalm to avoid the Agent Orange controversy.

Also, I can't wait to spout off Top Gun, A Team, and Black Hawk Down references in the online multiplayer. :>
Bah, that's what I get for not reading enough. But I can't wait to see what they do with the Tet offensive.

It's like sudden death "Where's Waldo?"
Only Waldo is a pissed off VC about to slice your throat out.

I would play that.

@Johnny it's all good, on topic I'm going to be very disappointed if I'm the only one that will be thinking of the A-Team theme when playing the game. Also the Tet Offensive will probably span at least two missions if they want to cover everything.

I can guarantee there will be booby traps in multiplayer, and if so, the next most commonly said phrase in CoD7 online will be:

"ITS A TRAP!!!"

or...

"U USED A CH3AP @$$ TR@P U N0000B!!111"
Knowing people's tendency to ***** about everything, it will be the latter. Even if the traps are in plain view and easily avoidable, they will still ***** about it being unfair.

And people think claymores are a pain.
We can assume the following shall be deemed "n00bish"

1. Killing Someone
2. Using Traps
3. Hiding in a bush
4. Using Camouflage
5. Killing Someone
6. Using the Flamethrower (assuming flamethrowers are present)
7. Using a gun
8. Killing someone
9. Using a knife
10. Using Commando Pro, Marathon Pro, and Lightweight Pro (KNOWING we'll still have those perks)
11. Killing Someone

It'd be cool to see ground vehicle kill streaks like see a tank start ripping through forests.

Napalm Airstrike FTW.

I would too. I've never played "Where's Waldo" by shooting the book, though.

kill streak speculation: Go!
Since there was such a difference in how the two sides fought the war, it wouldn't really make sense for the two sides to have identical killstreaks. As for the Americans, I could see them replacing artillery strikes with napalm, and you could swap dogs for a helicopter run a-la Apocalypse Now. Outside of that, I'm not sure.

Napalm Airstrike FTW.
Traps as a Kill Streak Award? Like as in Sentry Guns were?
Also napalm airstrikes (props for the idea). Dogs are in for sure.

It's the only place they could have taken it, and it's been as obvious and the sunrise, but I'm glad it's confirmed now.
