WWE and iMPACT wrestling programs. I understand perfectly that they're scripted. That doesn't take away the athleticism these folks have, nor their dedication to the show they put on. I understand if you don't like it and while it may be "fake" there's no doubt these people are well talented individuals capable of incredible feats and they do legitimately get injured and sometimes very badly.
A million times this. It's as if they don't know that we all know it's scripted. I just turn round to them and say:

"Okay, then I demand you stop liking [insert name of show they like]. I mean, it's so blatantly scripted."

Tends to shut most of them up.

Think it would have to be Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Theres not a guy I have met that doesn't like the show, but women hate it. Of course their argument is that none of the characters are likable and they are all assholes. Makes for a refreshing change of pace in my eyes, they play off each other so well.
Well it's true, everyone on the show IS an asshole. That's why it's funny. I don't know why people don't like the new Doctor Who, I think Matt Smith is great. Someone should be able to tell me that one. I only get criticized for MLP, but it's taking over the universe, so that doesn't count...I can't think of anything I get criticized for. This is because I only watch old stuff (three stooges, addams family, etc) Cancelled stuff, (arrested development) the stuff everyone watches (the office) and anime (Bleach, KHR)

And the only friend who criticizes me about MLP also says this website is crap, so I don't think all his spoons are polished. that is now a saying.

Bearing in mind that these critics haven't watched it and assume I'm jumping on the Whedon boner express. It really is one of my favorite shows of all time and it's a pity it died when it did.

Chuck

Some people assume that because a show has low ratings it must therefore be bad, usually they'd be right but i love Chuck and it's one of those few shows i've watched that's gotten consistently better each season.

And the first season of Glee, i stopped watching season two after the Bieber episode when i realised it started alienating the members of the audience that weren't a part of the core demographic. But season 1 had Journey. Nuff said.

I get alot of flak for watching wrestling. Surprisingly enough nobody has any problem with me watching Bad Girls Club nor The Real L Word. A few years ago I used to enjoy going back and watching Power Rangers and used to get teased by my family for some reason. It was only Mighty Morphing through Ninja Storm.

True Blood

Some people blindlessly hate it and think its like twillight. But if you have watched a few episodes you know it isnt just some teen soap opera. It has some great scenes and plenty of violence/gore.
Really? I thought people hated it because it is basically a Porno. At least from the first two episodes I have seen. Seriously, it was like 10-20 minutes of sex. I don't know about you, however if I want to see a porno I WILL BUY A FUCKING PORNO. If I want to see Vampires kick the shit out of each other I EXPECT TO SEE THAT.
It's an HBO series, that should've tipped you off there's going to be an almost uncalled for amount of sex and violence. Thing that kept me from having a chance of liking the show was the accents. By Christ I cringed every single time any character opened their mouths.

OT: I guess Supernatural probably fits. I haven't really been paying attention to what people say, but I'm getting to a point of being ashamed for liking it.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Hey, it was gonna come up sooner or later.
I feel you there Brony.

I haven't actually seen it mocked in person but I now if my friends found out they would not understand. The show rocks but many have not tried it but judge it.

GIVE PONIES A CHANCE

I get criticized for NOT liking Doctor Who. It's like my geek cred suddenly takes a nose dive or something.

OT: Glee. Yeah, okay, the second season was off its rocker, but the first one was BRILLIANT. Haters gonna hate, but I liked the damn show.
Agreed! Most people haven't actually watched it, as they assume because it's singing in a school it's shit, but it's honestly one of the funniest shows I've seen. Plus, Sue Sylvester is a genius, and the actress who plays her is great.
"I... don't menstruate."
"Yeah, neither do I"

That and Torchwood. Some people don't like that. I really do even though it has many faults, and Eve Myles is fiiiine.

I get stick for watching anime in general but I mostly get it for watching Adventure Time. The stick is mostly from people who find Jersey Shore to be stimulating entertainment so I don't really take much notice.

The Deadliest Warrior.

I don't lie to myself about what it is, but I bloody enjoy it...so there's little need to question why.

Deep analysis of interests and hobbies is a sure fired way to ruin them for yourself. Under proper scrutiny, just about everything is shite.

Ah Jane Lynch you fabulous ***** you... yeah, Sue is the highlight of that show, she really is. Every scene with her is either hilarious or moving, becaue Jane is just such a fantastic actress.

With that one change you have what attracted me to the show at first... you know, aside from it being a Doctor Who thing.

Same reason I watched the Sarah Jane Chronicles despite being 20 now. It's Doctor Who-related, so I must. Plus in the last season... Luke gets hot as he gets older.

John Barrowman is pretty fine too, I agree with you on that. I'm just more into her.
Toshiko is quite pretty.
And the weevil in the basement, I'd tap that.
