"U" instead of "You"

Wherever I see people type y, I always think of the Spanish word and . However text speak only annoys me on here. On a phone or instant messaging it's ok, but if I'm posting something on the internet I'd like to be that small percentage that doesn't look like an idiot. However I never used commas properly and I don't intend to start anytime soon.

And I know I might be too late but, the person who wrote this really didn't use any kind of punctuation. No questionmark after the sentence clearly stated as questions? Too bad.

I find that it's actually harder to write in broken English, I've got used to proper capitalization and grammar and I can type faster than I can talk.

Laziness is a silly excuse.
