I'm very interested as to how these people's meetings go...

I mean do they just bring in there childhood comics, or something?

Either way I'm liking their style.
Maybe something like this:
(Deep inhale)
Pause...

(Exhale)
"Dude, you know what would be awesome..."

Well that's all well and good, but there are just some days that you don't have a good place to put a bomb. Which would be bad for any bomb squad guys...

Lol, this might make sense to the Army or Marines, but what do Airmen do that is SO demanding they need the dark knight's utility belts? Other than combat pilots or pararescue, the airforce is just everyone else who didn't want to actually do real military stuff like address someone by their rank and all those pesky details. I'd start with maybe making them do actual PT sometimes or, oh I don't know, an actual mission. Then we'll talk.

Why do I see someone getting into that program, going up to his CO and being like, "You want me to be like Batman? Okay, Get these firearms out of here. Batman doesn't kill people."

I can see it now, thousand of Batmans being deployed into Afghanistan.

Tell ya summit, Taliban won't know what hit them...I do have a question though...

Will they all get Batmobiles Batjets, and Batsubs??
The Tumbler! :D

OT: Well, I like to see how their meetings go, also, who wouldn't like to see the Taliban get slaughtered by a bulky man in tights?

All I could think of when I saw this was Soldiers going "Where is he?" in the Batman voice. We'd find the most wanted in seconds with that kind of terror.

I challenge the languages of the world to reply to my post, in their native tongue, saying:

"The goddamned Batman!"

And GO!

But seriously, AWESOME!

So...they want their soldiers to refuse to use guns, and to instead use boomerangs? Against guys with assault rifles? I don't think that is going to work in real life.

Something tells me that the Air Force is looking more at Terry McGinnis for inspiration rather than Bruce Wayne. Or, more likely, they're looking at both.

In any event, AWESOME.

tapping into power lines to recharge your suit's batteries? Sounds more like 1970's Iron Man than Batman.

That sounds really cool, but I think I'd be able to take this article a lot more seriously if Adam West wasn't standing next to it hamming things up.
Really? Adam West is a really srs guy. Check out the look of concentration on his face.

Yknow, some days you just cant get rid of a stereotypically shaped bomb...

It's okay. They may not be the Batmen we want them to be, but the Batmen Afghanistan deserves.
What were sending the Frank Miller version to Afghanistan? Dang, isn't that against the Geneva convention or something? I mean that has got to be illegal WMD use somewhere.
