I can only move the preorder to another game
Oh my god. Did they make you pay for it in advance too? Because that's not how it's meant to work. Seriously, they can't tell the customer what to do.

Also, all you English tosspots need to stop screaming and just buy it off Steam instead. You guys are making it sound like GAME is the only option you have.
Yeah but not all of us are PC players now are we? PLus, GAME seems to be the only one offering Collectors and Blood Dragon Armor and Stone Prisoner.

Well, I don't condone Piracy, but if you buy the game legit for the PC shouldn't you be able to steal the DLC anyway? How hard is EA going to work to protect content that is free for 80% of the world?

EDIT -- Ok that makes it sound like I DO condone piracy. I'm just saying, a lot of people put hard work into that content, fully expecting everyone to play it for free. If some BS deal between a publisher and a retailer gets in the way of that then it seems like in this instance the only people getting screwed by piracy are the people trying to screw customers anyway.

Not all of us are part of the glorious PC gaming master race. And while GAME is my shop of choice, I'm not churning out an extra £10 for something that was promised to be in all standard editions ¬_¬

UK huh? Can't you just import something from mainland Europe then? Also, I only looked at it briefly, but I didn't see Steam mentioned.
Depends, would you like to play your game in Spanish?

Multiple language options seems to be getting rare these days, which is a serious problem when importing from Europe.
Depends, a lot of times they don't even bother translating, they just release it in the original language. That could be the case with DA, seeing how massive it supposedly is, but then again, I also thought that would be the case with Mass Effect, and was severely dissapointed.

Well after being near enough completely shafted by the collector's edition for Fable 2 I've stopped caring about collectables.
mainly because half the time it's never there when you buy it.

I will admit though, not getting the dragon armour is a real kick int he teeth, if anything I really wanted it for Mass Effect 2.

The Game Collection Edition is £40 which I would buy but I make it my little rule never to pay more than £25 for a game. And the extra content good though it probabl will be is no where near being close to £15 worth. I mean, that would only make sense if they added an extra 30% to the game.

You have utterly no clue how bad European steam pricing is do you?

The STEAM version has stuff cut out that is in for every other country because GAME made a deal with EA. So the UK is getting less for more.
Where did you get that info from?

Steam store page says the regular version comes with the DLC and I can't see any "not available in the UK" notices.

I'm just hoping you're wrong on this.

OH NOES!! How will UK gamers get their useless overpriced crap now?
Useless overpriced crap and DLC that's been promised to every other region for free.

I'm not buying the Collector's Edition, because EA are terrible people. But, I'm attempting to buy the regular edition and not getting the DLC that's being given to EVERY other region? THAT'S ridiculous.
You make a good point, but I myself swore off limited edition crap after i walked away from assassins creed with a stupid Altier figure and a Penny arcade comic I can read online for free.

He's not. You don't get the grimoire, the staff or Bergen's Honour. So, basically, Steam's DDE becomes regular edition with Warden's Keep. It's bloody ridiculous.

I pre-ordered the collectors edition from game because I want the soundtrack, but the loss of the cloth map is a bit disappointing. Anyone found any news as to why yet?

Doesn't have the tin case, don't want it anymore. That was the primary reason I wanted the bloody thing. I like the tin cases, they're all shiny and fun to make noises with.

Might just pirate the bloody DLC to spit in EA's face.

For those interested, I did a bit of digging and found these 2 pagers on the Bioware site:
http://eu.dragonage.com/buy/?path=/dragonage/preorder/en-uk/ - UK Pre-order info
http://dragonage.bioware.com/game/preorder?path=/dragonage/preorder/en-us/ - US Pre-order.

Its official. Brits are being screwed with their pants on.

Guys, you know what to do:-

DO NOT BUY ANY MORE BIOWARE PRODUCTS!

If you do you don't have any right to complain. They shafted us with Mass Effect (that limited install crap), they are now shafting us with this. Guaranteed that EA will find new and inventive ways to capitalize on the UKs extremely weak consumer protection laws and milk us for even more money. If we don't make it profitable for them to do so they will stop.

So just DON'T BUY THE THING!

Same goes for Activision Modern Warfare 2, extra £5 "because people are willing to pay it" my arse.
