I'm originally from amazingstoke (./sarcasm) in Hampshire but I am currently in the technological backwaters very friendly county of Devon.

How comes there are so many northerners on here? (I'm maintaning here that anything north of the Watford Gap is too far north XD).

I honestly don't know how you guys cope with living elsewhere. I'm down in Southampton for university, and it just seems so insignificant, even though it's one of the biggest towns in the whole South East!

I know London is big, imposing, impersonal, and all of us are abrasive and pompous as hell, but it's just frickin awesome here if you know what you're doing and where to go.

I been London, it don't seem much different than Manchester, we arn't t'kind of people that spend 18 hours a day working in t'mine, come home to beat t'kids and post on t'internet, that you londoners seem to think everyone else is.

We have Electric and cars and houses and roads...

and we pay less for everything!

I suppose you have got me on the paying less for everything; London is painfully expensive, but I figure it's worth it.

As far as being a Northerner is concerned...well...after having lived in London for all of my life I imagine it has something to do with the fact that everything you could ever want or need can be found in London? Personally, my geography kinda ends at zone 6. I suppose we're spoilt by the seemingly infinite variety of London, so we just figure that anything that's not London HAS to be shit.
