I like the way you use an Americanism to entice UK members to announce themselves. Quite delicious really.
I like the way you talk in our language to get your point across. ;-)
I like the way you didn't bother to check where I was from.
lol my mistake =3
Pwned ;) I think it's the usual Brit way of deliberately using another's culture wrongly in order to mock both them and us.

N'est pas?

Another for the East mids here, though I'm in manchester right now. Which is pretty sweet once you get over the fact it rains here all the time.

I hate tea. I also resent the stereotype.

Yeah, I'm British. Moreso than most people I know.

Here is a man from atherstone (England). For those who don't know, I live about 10 minutes from Rare. I want to know, why are we segregating different countries? I thought the whole purpose of the internet was to connect people world wide.

Sheffield :p

I'm a Sheffield lad too (but raised in Rotherham :\).
That's another Yorkshireman...
Currently in Nottingham though :\
Excellent, three people from one of the worlds only places to use the word "genal" (did I spell that right?)

Don't know whether that's how you spell it (but it doesn't matter anyway). Doesn't anyone else use the word 'genel' in other parts of the UK?

I'm from the UK, born in London, living in Cardiff, got any biscuits to go with that tea by any chance?

I guess I was just lucky in the midlands then, it doesn't seem so bleak now I'm in manc. Though it didn't actually rain today, for once.

Mancunian here, are there any people on this site actually from the mythical land of london?
Right here.
Also, surely this thread would spark a certain amount of hate, as a lot of southerners hold a certain distain for northerners and vice versa.

Nah, the Northerners far outnumber the Southerners, so there's no real point any arguments starting as we know who'd win.

Do you hate me then?

I'd like to think we're more civilized than your average Football hooligan.

Overly English and tea-hater reporting for duty.
London is a lovely place, but it's just a bit rainy. Like yesterday, when it rained all day.
Sad really.

Then let's leave it at the fact that the capital city is in the south and call it a day shall we?

I would like to think so too. But whenever I go north I always find someone to get into the entire north south argument with and it eventually dissolves into pointless name calling. Though I like to think that I will treat all people equal as long as I am treated in the same way.; but the second I hear the phrase "Sothern fairy" I get rather annoyed.

I don't think so, I think it's a mainly Sheffield thing.
