I just watched a video of a man being beaten to death with a hammer, I also just watched a video of a man having sex with a woman, guess which one scarred me for life and which one I forgot about an hour later.

I defend this fucking government at every turn, my brother is a huge conspiracy nut, he believes everything the government does is a cover for something else, but when they do dumb as shit stuff like blocking porn, it just makes me feel bad that these people actually have a say because "Daddy knows best", fuck this country.

If it wasn't bad enough that I couldn't get laid, now the government is going to take away my safety net and turn me into an overly stressed, horny teenager as well as a perma-virgin. And the only way to get it again is to ask my parents to basically sign a petition to watch it again, or somehow have a miracle involving getting a girlfriend.

Thanks, assholes. I'll save myself the trouble and kill myself right now before the rejection and voyeurism starts.

Oh for fuck sake.... not that I watch it a lot but seriously this must be some violation. It's the parents responsibility to protect their children and look after them instead of disrupting what a lot of people watch for the sake of the children.

Can parents not raise their children anymore or something?

"Now it has become a mental health issue because we now know the damage it is causing"

If that were true then the entire Male population would be mentally unstable. I'd be wearing a straight jacket by now.

Here's my opinion on news: unless I hear it from the BBC, I treat it as bulls**t. I haven't seen this on the BBC website, therefore this is, in all likelihood, probably incorrect.

The parents of the children need to get a life and teach their children what is right and wrong, if you keep blocking out all these kinds of stuff you aren't letting your children make choices on their own, your not letting them make the choices that will allow them to become good adults, your forcing them to take the choice you think is correct. Parents, get off your bottoms and discipline your children so the government wont force everyone else to suffer.

This, although with the Tories in charge I'd be hardly surprised if this happens.

What, no NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-

hang on how will it be different at all?

Whatever, I'm gonna move to Japan in about 9 years anyway. And not because of anime or manga or whatever, it just seems like a much nicer place to live than England, as long as you don't watch the game shows.

Because, as we all know, Australian media will hear of UK government actions before any news channel or newspaper in the UK does. Believe me, if something like that were happening, the Daily Mail would have already made at least four hundred articles about how it's heralding the apocalypse.
Here you go. [http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1339926/Internet-pornography-Parents-allowed-block-sexual-imagery.html] They really do seem to be in favour of this.

I told this to my boyfriend and he just snorted.

You see, both he and I are networking experts... hell it is our field of training and we are in tech support so sort of know these things. The chances of this block working is less then 0.001%. Even the best software created for one of the more totalitarian nations, and I mean Australia not China, was bypassed by a 12-13 year old kid who has a fraction of the ability my boyfriend does.

The British government does not have a chance.

Nor would I, I bloody hate them...
