Well if you are not British you probably havent heard of

1. Spaced
2. Black Books
3. Peep Show
4. Life On Mars

Life On Mars and Peep Show both have american versions however i advise you to watch the British versions as they are far better.
But Life on Mars is so boring and it has nothing to do with mars.
1. The title was taken from the David Bowie song Life on Mars.
2. Which version did you watch i found the American version incredibly boring, but i did rather like the British one.
I watched the British one.

The Wire. Superb series, one of the best TV shows I've ever seen, along with The Sopranos.
That ain't underrated or lesser known, at least where I'm from; I live in Baltimore and EVERYONE loves the Wire. The Season 5 Premiere was a BIG thing; the city rented out the Senator Theater and aired the first episode, hell, my SCHOOL showed episodes of The Wire during collection. I've also been to most of the places where they filmed the Wire, which is really weird and kinda sketchy. Baltimore is one heckuva place. (To Quote Bubbles- "There's a thin line between heaven and hell").

Blackadder is a bit old for me (wasn't born when it was aired) but its great stuff, its got Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) and Hugh Laurie (House) as members of two families that are constantly related through out English history (each season is a different time, 1 is Arthurian England, 2 is Dark Ages, 3 is Rennaissance, 4 is WWI).
Really great stuff, especially season 4 (watch the episode called Speckled Jim.)

Megas XLR and Beast Wars/Beast Machines take the cake as the coolest kids shows ever. Make more. Now.
