i dont think this counts becuse im hardly into the game
but i hate Silent hill 2
ill give it another chance but i cant think of a reason for the things that i hated to be gone
they seem to be an integral part of the game

another thing being that i despise Modern warfare
havent even played it i just know alot of people who are joining the army who play that game and love it
i also hate the US army and all things that advertise it as well as realism in games

EDIT: my brother commits tons of these gaming sins for being so damn un patient
he condemned mass effect after five minutes (loved mass effect 2 and even played mass effect later but at the time hated Mass effect without playing it)
condemed Dragon age without playing, condemed timesplitters withot playing, condemed splinter cell double agent without playing, calling them stupid, gay, terrible and begging me to play a diferent game while he's around like left 4 dead which i dont care for though i dont hate

I didn't like Portal. It got me to laugh a few times, and I'll admit that Still Alive is a masterpeice, but I found the game to be rather uninteresting as a whole.

There, I said it. My place in gamer hell has been earned.

I thought [PROTOTYPE] was better than inFamous. I thought Heavy Rain was an unplayable pile of shite. I just can't use turn-based combat without wanting to gnaw off my own arms in frustration. I brought Bullet Witch and Rumble Roses XX and had more fun with them than Half Life 2. I liked the Scanning minigame more than the Mako. I am the only person who seems to realise that the "harcore" market still needs their parents to buy their games for them.

I think Bioshock 2 is better than the first (even if it lacks Andrew Ryan), and the same for L4D2, only more so. I think CoD4 is a brilliant game. There. I'm going straight to hell now.
Nothing wrong with liking CoD4, its a fucking amazing game, unlike MW2 though.
Why does MW2 get such immense amounts of flak? The story wasn't the strong point of the first game either.

OT:
Gaming sins? Uhh...
This is difficult.
On this site, I imagine, it's bad to say I quite enjoy buying a new Fifa, Madden and NHL game every year, regardless of the fact that not many things ever really change. That would be it, then.

I think SoC and ICO were shit
I like RPG's but FF3 was better then FF7. FF9 was also better then FF7. FF10, 11, 12, 13 x2 were all shit.

I Hate halo. HATE console FPS multiplayer cause i need me some mouse and keyboard love to frag, but would rather play the single player FPS on a console then PC. I HATED battlefield 1 and 2 but, LOVED battlefield 2142.
I love world of warcraft but I think that the warcraft/starcraft RTS games were great for story and HORRIBLE AT MULTIPLAYER. I don't give a shit if you can click 300's a second, that's not strategy, it's speed... blizzard your doing it wrong.

I love the half-life story, HATE some of the game play. I HATE CSS and HATE TF and TF2.

I loved the f.e.a.r. games. I loved singularity, I loved dead space, I loved advent rising, I loved all the tom clancy games, loved all the pre 2010 AvP games.

I hate morrowind, oblivion, anything that's not mass effect or kotr that bioware has done.
(i like sci fi stuff, not knights of the round table stuff)

Hate star wars and star trek but LOVE battlestar galactica.

Hate all sandbox bullshit games. I didn't buy a game so you can say here, just blow shit up with a crappy storyline (GTA series, prototype, red dead, etc..)

I liked the Marvel Ult Alliance games.

I think Goldeneye is still the #1 multiplayer shooter of all time.

I have never played the prince of Persia games, I only played the ps2 MSG game.

Hated fallout series.

System shock 1 and 2 were meh at best.

I typically pirate all my shooters, then, if I like the story I will buy them for my console.

I LOVE steam. LOVE IT. If I want a new game, I can buy it in my boxers and for a considerable amount cheaper then going to a brick and motor store. I probably have 60+ steam games for that reason, wake up sunday morning and want to play something new, hop on steam and spend 20$ on an old game lol.

Chrono Trigger was better then most RPGS since 2000.

Last fighting game I liked was Killer Instinct 1.

I like games that leave out some challenge in favor of the story progressing at a faster pace. I play games for the challenge somewhat, but mainly for the story.

I bought MW2 for the story, and liked it. I have never played the Multiplayer and never will.

I think pokemon and it's creators should die in a fire and rot in hell, along with nintendo post gamecube.

I liked the ending of CoD4, I'm not gonna lie.

Price sliding you the pistol and giving you the chance to take out the Big Bad was one of the most fist-pumpingly awesome moments in gaming history.

Playing Final Fantasy X all the way to the last dungeon but could be bothered to finish the game as I found it to be mediocre with some of the worst voice acting I have ever heard.

I actually didn't think that Shadow the Hedgehog was that bad a game, in fact I actually enjoyed it a lot and played through it many times to get all the different endings, I was young at the time I guess but still.

*gasp* HERESY!

Jokes aside, I probably prefer the story of the first one (minus final boss encounter) but I really loved the side story in the second one which you follow on the audiotapes about a guy (Mark Meltzer?) who came to Rapture to try and find his kidnapped daughter. He finally catches up with her only to find she's been made into a lttle sister, so he offers himself up to become a big daddy so he can stay with her. The first game lacked moments like that.
Ugh spoilers, I've never actually bothered finishing it yet, but I was still going to at some point. D:

Thing I consider Gaming Sins

- Camping then gloating about having good stats afterwards

- Consoletards

- The Wii

- Spawnraping

- Cannon glitchers on Empire Total War

- Hacking

- Activision

- Shotguns

Yeah I hate alot of things when I'm gaming
You hate a lot of the things similar to me. The Wii in itself is a fine console with a great idea. But it wasn't powerful enough. The system was ahead and behind it's time; the PS3 and XBOX 360 were way better from both a graphics perspective and a performance perspective. But the controls were nice, nice in the sense that they were decent enough to work but not good enough for hardcore gaming. It was released too early and wasn't invested in enough. If they'd put more time into the console being better in both family markets and gamer markets as well as spent more time on the motion controls being more accurate then it would have been a big contender for a longer time. Consoletards piss me off, I think my brother may be one of them... I may need to kill him. Along with all the other stuff you said.

I prefer playing FPSs on consoles
Same here buddy. But this is probably because my PC isn't a gaming PC and doesn't have the capabilities to play FPSes. So I just use consoles.

Anyhoo, Sins? I cheated a lot when I was younger, glitched CoD 5 and never play games on my PC anymore... but the last one is soon to change. I mean, who plays games on a netbook for gods sake? It just can't be done to the standard of a desktop PC.

I actually enjoyed Bladestorm more than GTA IV. Ever heard of it? No, you haven't, because it has no redeeming features.

I second you on that.

I have a surprisingly large number.

I played through Final Fantasy XIII in 4 days after taking time off work specifically. I then restarted from the beginning because I enjoyed the story so much. I also really liked Vinelle (even though her name is a bit stupid).

Red Dead Redemption bored me.

I played Half Life when it was 1st released and didn't enjoy it. I thought it was ok, and I accept that it was a breakthrough, but I had a lot more fun on other games. Half Life 2 was better, but the boat section almost stopped me playing.

I tried Starcraft for an hour before giving up on it. The C&C & AoE series' are way better.

I enjoyed Fable 2.

I like the Wii and the kiddy games that are released for it.

Pretty much this. WoW may not be the most original game ever conceived, but I find it oddly compelling.

It almost seems as if it's a sin to dislike the Half Life series.

If that's the case, then let the power of Christ compel me. I hated the Half Life series.....

I really really like Mirrors Edge, I dont know if that qualifies as a sin. Seeing as it rocks.
