One of my friends from work was just talking about this. He picked up an Xbox 360 and went walking toward the counter to check out, then he thought to read the box. When he said he found out that there was no wireless adapter, and that it would cost him an extra ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS, he was stunned.
Needless to say, he didn't buy it. He's now considering PS3.
So that means that any 360 besides the Arcade, plus the Wi-Fi adapter is just as expensive as a PS3 (I didn't know the Wi-Fi thing was $100, I was thinking it would be $20 since Wi-Fi routers aren't much more than that). After paying for Live, you have passed the PS3 in price.
I am farily certain most 360 owners get the Wi-Fi adapter because running and ethernet cord from your router/modem is not always practical and usually invovles holes in the floor and a lot of cable (if you can't do it yourself, installation costs are gonna be insane).
The price difference is now officialy nil. Thank you.
