I was originally going to go with the grass snake but seeing the final form of the otter makes me thing otherwise. I mean a pokemon with a weapon on its back is pretty much instant win.
I'm going with the otter simply out of the sympathy I have for it after all the hate it was getting for stupid reasons.

The reveal(s?) of what it's likely to turn into only helps me feel more justified in my decision.
I never had any hate for the otter to be honest. I only wanted to go with grass simply because I have always chosen it. Even if these are not the "official" evolutions It would be pretty awesome if they looked something like that.

Mijumaru's Final evolution looks nothing like it's predecessors. Incoherent Evolutions. At least Gamefreak did SOMETHING different this time.

Seems like they have been confirmed to be fake, the user confessed that the evos are fake, so for those who didn't like them there's still hope...and for those who liked them let's hope their not to different.

The first evolutions of the Grass and the Water starter also turned up as Beta art or something like that on Serebii.net a while back.

The water type just looks dumb to me. I really hope this was a hoax, cause if not, I know which starter I'm going to get. Pignition, here I come. The rest of them have designs that are just...odd.

Sigh...Fire types just seem to be getting sillier, even though its one of the most serious types lol.
Even in the original set of fire-types, the silliest one (ponyta) was still awesome and straightforward.
Nowadays their designs are kinda broken (IE cyndaquill and typhlosion).

Magmar vs. Infernape.

These starters look awesome. I am definitely getting the green one.

Good thing too, this generation's designs always looked weird to me. I suppose when you have to add a hundred new pokemon every game excluding remakes your going to end with good and bad designs.

The other ones kicking about on this thread look more plausible to be honest.
Yeah, but a lot of the people commenting here, doesn't seem they've noticed them. Although I'm not sure how, the picture of them is huge.

They look more like evolutions of the starters to me, but I wouldn't be hugely suprised if the article-ones are the real ones. They're pretty cool.

The water starter looks pretty good in it's evolved stages. And I had so promised myself to quit pokemon after Soul Silver.

I take it back. I hated magmar and infernape, they were both seriously broken designs.
Not cute -or- cool.
Ok, maybe fire types have always just had the coolest designs for me, and nowadays I'm just not seeing it.

When I first saw the starters I was inclined to go with the Fire one.
Now, after looking at their evolutions, I think I'm going to go with the water one as it reminds me of Swampert.
Also, the grass one looks pretty awesome.

I'd really love to start the game off with seven Eevees though. That would be AWESOME!

Wow, they look way better than I thought they would turn out, now I can pick water without feeling bad for that ugly pokemon.
