Lily stirred gently in a pitch black room. She looked around, seeing nothing but more darkness in every direction. Not a flicker of light could be seen anywhere near the girl. This confused her, for she could see herself, her hands, legs, feet, arms, and torso just fine. Lily knew that she shouldn't be able to see anything if there was no light entering her eyes, yet she still was able to see in this endlessly big room.
Suddenly, out of the darkness appeared four strange Pokemon. They were large, dog like beasts, but they were not the Legendary Pokemon Lily was hunting after. There was a tall, proud, blue one, a thick, tough, grey one, a lithe, feminine, green one, and a small, weak-looking one that was a different hue of blue. They eyed her hungrily and growled at her. She sensed an intent to kill from them, and stood stiff, terrified. She went to send out her own Pokemon, but realized that all of her Pokeballs were completely gone. She sunk to her knees hopelessly, realizing that she was doomed.
From behind Lily, the group that she had been traveling with appeared. One by one, they walked in front of her, each trainer releasing each Pokemon in their arsenal, ready to combat the foes in front of them. Last of all, Lily's Eevee took it's place directly in front of her, ready to defend.
Before Lily could even thank them, the tall dog let out a mighty roar, and the slaughter began. The small Pokemon stood no chance against the mighty monsters that were attacking. Blood flew in every direction, but none of it was the dogs'. After the Pokemon fell, the attention was turned to the trainers. Lily's companions were gutted, decapitated, and annihilated until all that remained was Sid, Matt, Jason, and Lily's Eevee, standing directly in front of her in a futile attempt to protect her.
Without warning, a hideous, rasp, gruff voice barked out two words from the darkness. "Sacred Sword!"
At once, the eyes of the beasts turned white, and in a flash of movement, the three humans in front of her fell to the ground, in pieces. Blood further soaked the ground as Lily cried out, "NO!!!!"
Lily's Eevee was the only survivor, having just barely evaded the attack of the smallest dog. Eevee growled, ready to take on all of it's opponents at once, but it's victory was short lived. That same disgusting voice called out, "Sword of Mystery!" whereupon the small dog unleashed six brutal slashes on the Eevee, leaving it a crumpled, bloody mess on the ground.
From the shadows, a severed head rolled out, past the dogs, and right up to Lily. Upon seeing the face, she vomited. She was looking at her mother's head. Lily couldn't even think anymore. She was so full of disgust and despair that she had no room for any of her higher functions. She couldn't take her eyes away from her mother's beautiful golden brown hair, the hair that they shared. Tears streamed down her face, tears for everyone, including herself.
Another figure emerged from the darkness, blindfolded and stumbling. His blonde, slightly graying hair was damp and plastered to his forehead with sweat. His hands were bound behind his back, so he wandered aimlessly in the dark, calling out, "Where is she? Where the hell is she??"
Lily immediately recognized the voice. "Daddy???"
The man's head jerked up suddenly upon hearing her. "Lily? Lily!!!" He stumbled in her general direction, disoriented, before falling over and attempting to inch himself over to her.
By now, the four dogs had surrounded Lily, all of their eyes glowing white. There was another sudden flash, and her fate was sealed.
She felt no pain, but the Pokemon had thoroughly eviscerated her. She fell completely to the ground, bleeding horribly, while staring solely at her father. She felt her senses fade, last seeing a well dressed elderly couple with sickening smiles and hearing a constant ring of "Lily, where are you?"
---
Lily jolted from her sleep in a cold sweat. She was breathing heavily, confused as to where she was. Scanning the area, she saw the others all awake, arguing with one another. She had no idea where she was, allshe could tell was that it was dark, wet, and...
She could still hear a voice asking where she was. Her breath rate doubled instantly, a panic rushing through her body, remembering her nightmare vividly.
Fortunately, she saw that it was only Jason calling for her, and that he was alive and well once again. She sighed a berth if relief as she answered him. "Over here, Jason."
