Uprising - A Pokemon RP

Alright, there was ONE guard supposed to be watching you all in the cave, which would have been the one guy with the Butterfree's that knocked you out. My bad for not indicating anything on the other side of the door.

"Hey! Your not supposed to have been able to get out so quickly!" The 'guard', Johnny, snapped as he gripped Eric by the shoulder and tried to rip him off the ladder, he didnt seem much older then eighteen. He had gotten quite bored and had checked out what he thought was a pokemon that was shuffling by the large pool of water, and when he turned back everyone was yelling again and heading out of their 'cell'.
When he pried him off the ladder Johnny took a few steps back and reached down to his belt. "Buterfree, come out and use Sleep Powder again!" he started to say as he grabbed the pokeball, he could still salvage this before Remi could find out... and she didnt tan his hide.

Matt followed the others outside, but when he saw their guard reach for something on his belt, he launched himself at him, they both fell to the ground in a tangle of punches and kicks. "This is what you get for jumping us like that" Matt growled as he pinned him down. Johnny was struggling against him but Matt was more then capeable to keep him down.

"Wow, look at that guys eyes, he has rookie eyes. He's so scared looks like he's gonna crap his pants" said Chell as Matt was being a total BAMF

Darrel walked over to where Matt was holding down the guard, and kneeled, looking down at their pinned would-be captor. "Huh. Well, uh, he doesn't look like a Rocket. So why did he attack us and take our Pokemon? Got any answers?" He asked casually, bending over even further to get a closer look at "Johnny".

"Hey! I am not that scared!" He said, his voice shaking lightly to show the contrary was true. "And did you call me a Rocket! I take EXTREME offence to that! Though a bunch of poachers like you wouldnt know anything about honor" Johnny spat at them, he was still struggling to get away, but Matt had him securely down.

"Poachers? What the hell are you on? We were just walking through the woods when you attacked us like that. That sounds like something the rockets would do" Matt replied, but he knew Darrel was right, he didnt seem to be as needlesly cruel as the ones he had seen, and actualy seemed to be kind of a wimp. "Alright, he doesnt seem to want to talk about our Pokemon, I think we need to take the forceful way with him" Matt said, half turning to the rest of the group.

There was a dangerous tapping noise, and Johnny's eyes seemed to have bugged out of their head. "Oh... Remi!" He said, his voice a sudden mixture of fear and joy as the new person seemed to materialize behind the group.
"Johnny, how the hell did you mess this up? I just came down to tell you that we're all set to take care of these poachers, and I see that they're not only outside, but taken you captive. Do you even remember your ranger training?" She said with a exasperated sigh.
"Well either way, now I'm going to have to clean things up after you... again. Why am I not suprised" she said, and Johnny seemed to shudder at some memory under Matt.
"So" Remilia said, stepping forward, she was dressed in the signature clothes of the Pokemon Rangers, except she was missing the hat, exposing her mid length wavy-blonde hair. "Are you going to get back into your cell all nice and quiet like, or will I have to force you?" She asked, everything about her indicating that she was not someone to mess with

"Hey, are you alright?" Jason asked, walking over to her quickly and kneeling down to check her over. He tried seeing any wounds on her, but he couldn't so he assumed that she was completely fine.

"How about I don't rearrange your friend's face, and we get our Pokemon back?" Sid growled. He glared at the Ranger and she glared back, she was holding Pooch captive so that made her Sid's enemy.

There was a tense moment when Sid spoke up, and Remilia just smiled at him, while Johnny was staring wideyed at what he could see past the group and his current position. "That... was the wrong thing to say" he said in a quiet tone.

"The hard way, huh? Well you look like you've had some rough times kid, but all I can say now is that they're about to get a lot worse" she said as she reached down to her belt and grabbed a pokeball and released its contents. A massive bear suddenly materialized before her.
URSA-RING the beast roared loudly, it's call reverberating around the cavern as it brandished both of its claws at its aparent prey.
"Now I'm giving you ONE more chance to do this peacefuly. You WILL return release Johnny and return to your cell, or you'll pray that Brutus here gets to you before I do" she said while cracking her knuckles, her face was framed in shadow except for the lower half, which held a stern look to it. Matt couldnt tear his gaze from the massive bear before him, and at the moment couldnt tell which was more frightening, the brawny bear, or the frightening 'Ranger' that tamed it.

"I don't know about them, but you have the one thing that means most to me. I'm not going ANYWHERE until I get him back." Sid growled again, his blood was boiling and he had the sudden urge to actually go on his threat.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

As Remi released Brutus the Ursaring from his ball, a figure entered the well with a red insectoid pokemon. He called out to her "Remilia. Stop this right now." His body was covered in shadow but the pokemon he was with glinted in the sunlight.
"Haven't you ever asked before you kidnap kids? Honestly, their probably..." He paused. "Jason? Is that you?"

Darrel walked to the front of the group, staring down the Ursaring. He was quite plainly scared out of his wits, but he saw that there was nothing he could do but try to stop the Ranger.

"Ok, uh, we're not poachers." He said rather unconvincingly, due to his anxiety. "We were, uh, just walking through the woods, when you attacked us with Sleep Powder. We were on our way to Azalea City."

He then turned to see the newcomer, whom he supposed was a superior. "You heard what I said sir, right?"

Above them, Puck looked on in disappointment. His trainer was such a wimp when he wasn't angry. He guessed he'd have to handle things himself. He looked at the Ursaring and scoffed. Such brute force was putty in the hands of an elegant artist such as he. He sent an unseen Hypnosis at the bear to try and put it to sleep, so his trainer and the ranger could debate on more even terms.

He noticed at the last moment that another one had appeared and berated the Ranger for being so brash. He was quite irritated that his artistic display was now likely going to be a catalyst for violence, but he decided he would wait until later to enact his revenge upon the human.

Eric stared at Remilia, swallowing his fury in order to keep his voice down.

"I am not a poacher. I am not a criminal. I don't have any idea why it is you accuse me of these things but I will get my goddamn Pokemon back and I'll be damned if you stop me."

He put his hand in his pocket, fingering the small knife.

"Yea, I'm Jason. Who are you?" Jason asked, standing up and walking to the front of the group so that he was standing right in front of the newcomer. Jason saw the red bug thing, and prayed that he wasn't about to be poisoned again. Jason tried figuring out who this new man was, but he couldn't place his finger on it.

Brutus wobbled slightly but straightened up, it sniffed the air a few times and saw Puck hovering around, trying to hypnotize him. He growled loudly and swiped Puck away with a Feint Attack, the dark type move easily batting away the interfering Ghastly.
"You say that but you leave out one important detail" Remilia said, her voice has lost its agressive edge but was still blunt. "You explicitly hunted down a rarely patterned Heracross. At first I thought you were trainers, and would care for the captured pokemon, but then what happened is that that one there" she said, pointing at Matt "made a reference to how 'rich people would pay big money for a pokemon like that' cementing my concern" She glared at Eric.
"I advise you keep your hands where I can see them, you'll only make these things worse for you now."

Matt blinked twice in suprise before quickly getting up, accidently stepping on Johnny during the process. "That... well, it was just a stupid comment! Its not like I would actualy do it!" He said in his defense, glad it was dark in the cave so none of the others would see how red his face was when it turned out his stupid comment was the reason they were there. Meanwhile, Johnny took this chance to slip back next to Remilia.
"Thanks sis..." he muttered quietly before seeing who she was looking at. "Oh, sir. Your here, as you can probably tell these were all of the poachers we were telling you about" he explained, a bit late and stating the obvious

"Puck!" Darrel shouted in surprise, as he ran over to his injured Gastly. Puck chuckled weakly before fainting. Darrel fished for his Pokeball instinctively before remembering that the Rangers had taken it. His brow furrowed as he stood up and looked over at them. "You're the only ones kidnapping Pokemon! We didn't even look for that Heracross, Alex's idiot Mareep headbutted the tree by accident! If the only evidence you need to kidnap someone and steal their Pokemon is a joke, then you're abusing your authority."

"I didn't even comment on that Heracross. Return me my Pokemon."

Eric stared at them evenly, waiting for their response.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

The newcomer stepped into the light along with the red pokemon which was revealed to be a powerful looking Scizor. "Ahhh Johnny, I see except for one big problem. These aren't poachers several reasons actually. Several of them are wearing bright red. Which might I remind you is a offensively problematic colour to hide in." He guestured at Alex and Matt, both of them looked away rather embarrassed. "Second if their current amount of supplies is any indication of their skill as poachers they might as well be poaching rocks. And lastly that's my cousin, Jason. While he might be a bit hot-headed... he's a moral paragon and wouldn't stand for that sort of thing."
The scizor beside him nodded, not saying a word but calmly staring down Brutus.

Alex was about to call out Darrel for calling Horus an idiot but paused in mid-motion.
He's right you know.
Shut up...

"What I just found Blue Beetle, We Bwa-ha-ha'd He's my friend, I caught him fair and square, Now give me back my Pokemon." said the Short haired Chell

Eric stood down, pulling out his hands from his jacket pockets and continuing to look at them.

Calm down, that guy seems to know Jason...

He was still furious about his Pokemon being taken away from him but he could see that it probably wouldn't devolve into violence.

"Bugsy? No way! It's good to see you again." Jason said, giving Busgy a quick bro-hug before backing away with a questioning look.

"What are you doing? I mean, why are you capturing innocent travelers?"

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Bugsy hugged him back and sighed at his question, "We've been having huge problems with poachers around here and Remi and Johnny have been helping me deal with them." He laughed. "Now Remi, Johnny... please return the pokemon. After this I need to have a word with you about telling the difference of comments with and without intent behind them." He gave them a dark look as they scurried off to get the bag.
