The fist hit him right in the nose. "Ow!" He covered his nose as blood started to pour out
"Hello, professor Elm. I'm Alex. I believe you got my Email." He smiled and snapped his fingers.
"The... Totodile... umm... yeah." He grinned excitedly.

"Ah yes, first let me shut this door." Elm clasped his hands together and made his way to the open door. Before shutting the door he took a deep breath from the chilly air outside and stepped back inside with a grin across his face.

"Now then, I'll have to ask you to line up in front of this table please." Elm motioned to the table with the pokeballs and pokedexs.

So this is were the damn place is. Thought Gereld as he entered the Lab. As he went in, he saw the person who was leading them greet the Professor. Choosing to keep up his silence, Gereld lined up at the back, curious as to what he'd get.

Alex lined up with the rest of them ending up in the middle. He turned to the others "So which ones are you guys going for? I'm going to get a Totodile. They're so cool! They've got claws and fangs and are so manly! Gah! I can't wait!!"

Considering wether or not to answer, and deciding to, Gereld said, in a somewhat unconcerned voice"I'll take whatever's left. I'd treat'em all the same anyway."

Alex shrugged "Whatever floats your boat. I'm more interested in what this cutie was going to get."
He walked up to Chell nose still bleeding and grasped her hands. "So what's your favorite type?"

Amy did as Prof. Elm said and leaned on the table. Lulu jumped onto the table with his hands in the air and started waving them in the sky.

She yanked her hand away, but went on to answer, "That pudgy one that eats alot, Munchlax, yeah thats it." she said a wistful look on her face.

Alex grinned. "Normal types, huh. I could see that. I'm sorry about the hands thing. I'm a bit touchy around beautiful women. Personally I'm hoping for a Totodile. Ahhh! They're sooo cool." His eyes flared up with passion.

Wait... YOU put in the request for Munchlax?" Prof Elm asked, the veins on his forehead started to throb, "No, not when we have guests..."

"Any way as you are no doubt aware, you have been accepted to recieve your very own pokedexs. I have a feeling you are all gathered here for your different reasons, some of you may be here to start your road to the Indigo Plateau, some of you may wish to be researchers like myself, some of you may be here for the thrill of an adventure. I will be giving all of you all a single pokemon to start out with, and I went through a great deal of trouble to get most of them.
"I have here..." Elm motioned to the first three, "Pokemon from Kanto thank to my old Teacher Prof Oak; Chamander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle."
"Here," He motioned to the second set of three, "Are the pokemon that I give out; Cyndaquil, Chicorida, and a single Totadile... that seems to be the most popular pokemon and if more than one person wants it, I'll think of something for you to do."
"These three," He lastly motioned to the last three, "I went through a great deal of trouble to get these from Hoenn; Torchic, Treecko, and... Mudkip."

"Now I'm going to have you choose from youngest to oldest, those of you who are eighteen... figure it out."

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

"MUDKIP!!!"
Lulu jumped in shock as Amy shouted and fell on his back.
"Uggle..."
"Sorry Lulu..."

Alex looked around at them looking sad "Seventeen years old." He hung his head looking a bit depressed.
"I'm probably going to go last, I guess." He sighed.

"Um that is to say um, sorry Professor, I just really want to be a trainer and Munchlax is the best Pokemon, I didn't mean to cause trouble" she said pouting and shuffling her feet.
Hooray Munchlax, Imma call him Steve thought Chell.

"Here you are, young lady." Elm handed Amy her pokeball that contained the mudkip and ripped the label off, "Now... who's n-"

"Chicorida." Micheal interupted, "I want Chicorida... please."

"Here you go, young man." Elm smiled and handed him the pokeball that contained the pokemon of his dreams.

"Now, who's next?" Elm asked, standing by the table. He raised his coffee cup to take a sip but realized he was out, "Chell, could you please get me another cup of coffee... black? Trust me, no one will take this Munchlax."

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

"Yay!"
She released the Mudkip.
"Kip?"
"Uggle Uggle Uggle."
"Mud?"
"Your my pokemon now, you're name is Mr Muggles."
"Mud..."

Matt had followed the others into the lab and took a spot towards the back of the hap-hazard line that people formed to get their pokemon. After a quick glance around he noticed that a good deal of the assistants were out, including Rosa. Huh, did she say she was doing field-work in the morning? I cant really remember... he thought as he rubbed his eyes with the palms of his hands.
So everyones getting what they want, thats good. But- which one was I going to get? He thought, and suddenly realized that he had forgotten which one he planned on taking with him

"Okie Dokie Professor" said Chell as she takes the Coffee mug. She poured the Professor a fresh cup, and brought a slice of cake with it.

"No takers hmm? Let's see..." Elm looked around and picked up a stack of papers, "Uhh... it says Mathew and Alexander are both seventeen but I have no month for either of you. Matt, which month were you born in?"
