Josef Stalin - Red Alert 1. He kicked ass in the FMV's
Lyn - Fire Emblem 7. Maybe its also because she is directly talking to you at times.
Conker - Conker's Bad Fur Day. Along with a lot of the characters in there. (Greg the Grimreaper for example)

Yuri from Final Fantasy: Ring of Fates well since I'm still new at this and all, I'll just hint at it for those who know. The end. Man, the kid has it rough. I don't think I would want to keep on going if all that happened to me after everything I went through just to save the day. That's a crap way to get rewarded.

I really cared about Niko Bellic in GTA 4, but that's probably just me.
Most people seem to despise that game in general.

I agree that guy gets so much crap from the other characters in that game

I care for them the way that a friend cares for his best buddy and the awesome girlfriend I helped him get. Wish them the best.

Sora, definitely Sora. From Kingdom Hearts. Not quite sure why, but he's special to me for some reason.
Tali'Zorah vas Neema, my pokemon, Lucas, Claus, Hinawa, and Flint are characters I really care about too.

I second Yuri. He was fantastic.

Other than that, I'm going to go with Beatrix from FFIX. She wasn't even a main character, but she was brilliant.

Tidus and Yuna from ffx. Most people don't like Tidus but I didn't find him annoying at all and taught the way his character developed was very well done.

Also Snake from MGS. Impossible not to care for him.
