Anything from any Batman.
Pretty much the entire Marvel and DC comics universes, includes the so-called heroes.
Anything from Yu-Gi-Oh. Anything from Pokemon.
Mostly all villains from Bleach. Aizen was doing a pretty good job but then he left common sense back into Seireitei and...well. All downhill form there as an antagonist.
The Imperium from Star Wars. Any of them. Thrall again was doing a good job, but he got wasted in short enough order and if those books are canon then I have to accept the others as canon as well. *wailing moan of impending doom*

As for villains I can't take seriously... Ratchet and Clank villains, yes, but they're not really meant to be taken seriously (especially Nefarious; come on, he jams up and plays soap operas, someone mentioned that earlier).
I've never understood Lex Luthor's motivations, but then again, I'm not the biggest Superman fan ever.
Oh! The terrorist leader guy from True Lies, or whatever it's called, with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Granted, I can't even take the movie seriously...

Monster fights power rangers and throws them around a bit.
Power rangers make a come back and start kicking the monsters ass.
Monster becomes a giant power rangers use their robot thing (forget what its called)
Monster dies without being touched.
