Tempting, but no.
My virginity is just as valuable, thus I shall give it only to the one I deem worthy.
And other things you will laugh about saying when you're twenty-one and have stopped counting the number of times you've had sex. I remember one of my friends was dating a nineteen year old guy and she told me after they had slept together for the first time he said "that was the seventeenth time I've made love"...

we all agreed it was adorably hilarious... *sigh* I remember being 19.
Amazingly enough there are many people out there who don't run around and sleep with as many people as possible before they're legally old enough to drink. Also I don't really get why he needed to broadcast how many times he's had sex...erm... excuse me made love to a completely new partner. Was he afraid of looking inexperienced? Personally that would immediately put me off as the whole point of love making is supposed to be concentrating on the two of you - not all the people running around that you've done in the past.

Erana - good for you. You don't need to run around having sex and if you see your virginity as important then it is. Now-a-days people tend to put more emphasis on sexual ability rather then purity. Probably also why STD's are so high despite all the new improvements in barriers. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 21, that was just how long it took for me to meet someone that I loved enough to be intimate with. I definitely don't regret waiting that long, plus I am happy that I didn't have sex as a teen. Just because you are physically able to have sex doesn't mean you should or that you are getting anything out of it.

I do find it ironic that this woman is a women studies major/graduate that is now selling herself like a well kept whore to the highest bidder. No matter how desperately I needed money I couldn't sell myself. And if she needs money for school here's an idea: get a job and apply for grants. It's what the rest of the world does.

so, she's a prostitute, or at least will be when this is all said and done... so, who is hosting her auction? Ebay? and if that's the case, why are they allowing this to happen? last i checked, prostitution is illegal except in some parts of Nevada....

not that i'm morally opposed to prostitution... like the late George Carlin said, "Selling is legal, fucking is legal... why isn't selling fucking legal?"

EDIT: and yeah, she's hot... but 3.7 million hot?? i don't think so... besides, virgins are overrated...

I'm pretty sure that's what was implied exactly what I said, yes.
That's actually pretty messed you know. Find better things to judge people for, if you're going to judge them.
Why? Better is subjective. There are a lot of people who think black people aren't people, should I go that route?
I find there are very few things in life I have a problem with.
Racism is one, rape is another, promiscuity is the last.
Oh, everything is subjective. No disagreement there, I don't believe in right or wrong. When I judge, I judge based solely on the one thing I have a right to; how much I like the person. Not judging at all is boring. I don't expect you to follow what I believe of course, but your logic seems twisted. It kind of undermines the legitimacy of your hate when you say it's subjective. You're basically saying that your hate is grounded in your opinion and not the world at all. "It's my opinion that everyone who has provided sex for money isn't a real person and should be hated. I have a right to my opinion, right?" is the kind of vibe I'm getting. I just kinda don't get it. Also, your choice of hate seems a tad strange, normally people target people who are in some way different from themselves, foreign. Rather than a group whose members come from almost every background and belief system.

But whores, whether they charge money or not, (male or female,) just sicken me.
Hey, everyone's gotta make a living. And having opportunities for releasing their pent up sexual energy is a great release for ner- uh, potential predators. That way, your grandmother isn't raped one her way to the bakery; and instead women have the freedom to do what they want.

Unless of course, they're pushed into it. Like in places where it's illegal.

Why pay 3.7 million for one girl?
Hell, she might even have cops ready to bust the person who paid her for prostitution.

Let's see... 3.7 million could buy you this girl for one hour...
Or an actual prostitute for 1233.3 hours, assuming said prostitute charges $300 per hour.

Well, that's why I also think the punishment for rape should involve me, a soundproof bunker, the prisoners, molten lead, and needles.
I understand being sold into sexual slavery, but working the streets because you're too lazy to get a job is just bullshit, and I don't care what your reasons are, honestly.
I'm a hardass like that.
On a sidenote, my grandmother doesn't leave her house, so nyeh.

EDIT: Also, if your argument for prostitution is that it will decrease rape so more women will be safe, I think somebody should be wondering why society is so fucked up that that's the case.
That's funny, I knew a girl who was a "high class call girl" and the amount of work she puts in to her profession (which incidentally is the worlds oldest) boggles my mind, and I work no less than 12 hours a day usually more for at least five days a week.

Hold up, I'm not talking about the cushy Western USA when I talk about working the streets.

In any case, there's give or take 3 types of whore:

1. Pushed into it (By families or pimps)
2. Scarcity of work
3. Crazy Bitches

Being a whore is not a fun job, and I have never met someone who aspired to, or wanted to work as one. There are a great many women and children who are forced to work the streets because one reason or another. I can easily assure you that being a whore is usually the only option for girls strapped for cash in a vicious environment. If you have no money, no food, no house and no skills; are you likely to starve to death, or have sex for money? There may not be a job for women in the local area that hasn't already been taken. There may be no way for the girl to move to another area. She may use prostitution as a side-job, to subsidize her main job; but usually bad mojo comes from this.

It's a given that there's always someone who enjoys their job, but being a whore is always highly stressful, tends to have unreasonable risk for those involved, and may not pay all that well depending on the competition.

In response to your edit, I present to you the following query: If porn does reduce down acts of rape and violence to women, why doesn't prostitution do the same?

It is sad, isn't it? I've always been under the impression that virginity is priceless because it's just something special. Then again, I'm a hopeless romantic.

Well shit, I mean it's no surprise to me that someone was able to pull this of, seriously, what do you expect now a days.
