It's how I learned the PS3 version only supported one save game.Aby_Z said:In Fallout 3 I voluntarily restarted after reaching level 13 or so in one playthrough, then realizing that I picked the wrong perks and I should redo things.
God. Have learned your lesson? And that is why I keep all my saves on a seperate memory card.Jaded Scribe said:On one of my multiple replays through Ocarina of Time, I found a way, in the Forest Temple, where if you don't use the keys just right, you end up screwed. I spent a good 2 hours making sure I did everything I could to find another key, but was completely screwed.
Then, when I went to reload it, like a tard, I habitually hit the "Yes, I want to save."
More than once have I turned off a game whilst forgetting to save.
Twice, my oldest has done it to me. When he was 3 he copied over my Twilight Princess file. I had just finished the Goron dungeon, and didn't want to deal with it all again so soon, so I didn't touch the game for over 6 months.
Then, just about a month ago (he's now 6) I was letting him play Kingdom Hearts, and he deleted my save.
Yes. Exactly. This happened to me at almost any RPG. Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Diablo... Nothing is as boring as grinding, and nothing is as agonizing as making yourself repeat it after fucking up.SideSlyGuy said:After many hours of grinding in any game, or just a few hours or so of progress, then... either a power outage, OR the game decides to say " Aay! Fuck you!" And crashes, or you're at a hard part, hours after your last save, and you get screwed over by something or other, and rage quit. All of these have happened to me at some point or another.
I did that exact same thing on Brickles. I feel for you.Swaggerjacker said:I made the mistake of getting past level 99 on Tetris, which forced me to start all over.
I hear that - disks seem almost designed to break these days, and its fucking irritating.ArchBlade said:This happened to me a lot during my veteran run of MW2. Conveniently, I decided to do this run right around the same time my disc started dying on me. It would habitually send me back to the dashboard in the middle of missions(especially the South America levels, which I HATE) and force me to start all over.
Now the disc doesn't work at all, but that's another story.
