No, the cold in emnating from him. His hair is sweapt back and frozen, his arms, lower legs and mid-riff have armour made of ice forming around them and a pair of ice wings are being formed on his back.

Cryomancy is the strongest form of Kendrik's magic as well. Its just bad luck that Tophat triggered it.

"I'm afraid I have no more time to waste. It is time for you, and likely me, to die."
With that, Tophat began isolating Kendrik's mind, preparing to transfer it into Tophat's body.

Kendrik wasn't without a mental defence, his willpower fought against his invader. "I don't think so." He held a cold hand to his heart. The magical artefact that replaced his heart gave him two vital abilities. As long as his true heart remained sound and safe his replacement could be desttroyed but never killed. The more important ability was that it gave the bearer of the heart command of the Legion of Dusk, an army of crystalised warriors. Two of the warriors appeared from portals beside kendrik's frozen form as they sensed the bearer of the Heart was in danger.

"Then I suppose we'll take this outside once more."
Tophat left Kendrik's mind, but temporarily paralyzed him as it left. It retook control over its body, and broke down the ice. It shook its head and took a step back, staring down the two warriors.

The warriors faces were blank slates and they both stood over 7 feet tall. Their angular bodies tapered off at many points. Their right arms were bladed and their forms were further hardened by the freezing air Kendrik had given off.

Kendrik's eyes focused on Tophat before he looked at the obelisk, now awhirl with Magical energy, so much that portions of the structure had collapsed. One of the warriors felt his intent and began to head towards the Obelisk while the other approached Tophat.

As soon as he could cast a spell Kendrik would finish this.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat took a look at the two warriors, checking if they had souls. If they did, Tophat would attempt to make the one approaching it turn around and stab Kendrik. If they did not, Tophat would try to punch down the crystal warrior closing in on it, using its metal fist to block any incoming attack.

The warriors were bound magicaly to the bearer of their collective Heart. They could not be swayed. The first one swung for Tophat, its bladed arm cutting through the air with speed. The other had reached the Obelisk and placed its regular hand upon the eldritch stone, becoming a conduit for the magical energy. Kendrik drew from this power, he was no longer paralysed.

"It ends."

He poured all of his sorrow and magical energy into a cryomancy attack. Placing his hands upon the floor, sharpened pillars of ice began to erupt from the floor all around him, expanding outwards.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat blocked the cut, kicking the warrior away. When the pillar erupted beneath it, it smashed down on it with the metal covered hand. This had the unintended effect of blowing up the remaining ammunition still in what used to be a pistol. The explosion took of Tophat's arm at the forearm, and shattered the ice pillar.

OoC: @Ven: Around as strong as the strongest human ever. It's bloody strong, but not impossibly so.

The kicked warrior stumbled back a step. It kept its distance.

Kendrik was not done. He raised a hand to the sky and large shards of Ice began falling from the sky, again expanding outwards from his position. Both Warriors sank into the floor as the ice began to fall.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat looked up, and waited until the last moment before throwing itself aside from the incoming ice shard, repeating the process if came down.

"Give up. My sadness will hold you for all time." He held his right hand to the side, his wings of ice carried him into the air and a lance of ice formed around his hand before he swooped down, the last of his sadness in the lance. He pulled it back and struck for Tophats heart.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat grunted as it got up, just as it saw Kendrik swoop down. It threw itself to the side to avoid the lance.

Kendrik missed Tophat's heart but he was going to fast to be completely dodged. The lance pierced a thigh, then stuck into the ground. Kendrik's hand slid out of the ice and is hair began to thaw while his eyes became red again. The armour of ice around him shattered and his wings slowly collapsed.

He groaned and took a step away, feeling things other than sadness now. The lance was still present but it was slowly melting. Kendrik smiled. "I got to hand it to you." He said with some energy in his voice. "No human has ever went that long with me before. I mean never ever. Thats pretty awesome." He gestured with a hand and began levitating a large rock. "But these things have got to have a winner right?"

 

[Kirke]

Tophat grunted and reached into Kendrik's mind, sending a wave of chaotic screams and jibberish to confuse and disturb his concentration.
"Well, I am no human." - It said as it began to pull out the ice lance, not disturbed by the cold or pain.

"Fuck off with this confusing shit!" He shouted, thankful that levitation was a simple spell that required little concentration. He raised the rock over Tophat. He gritted his teeth "you are out of luck." He began siphoning magical energy from the obelisk again, just in case.

 

[Kirke]

"Is it so?"
Tophat pulled out the ice lance and sprung up, tossing itself aside before throwing the lance as a spear at Kendrik.

Kendrik held the rock in front of him to stop the ice lance, the magical weapon embedding into the rock. "your body is still mortal. It will bleed out soon."

OOC: I have to go now, internet is going off.

 

[Kirke]

"There is much you do not know about me. Why do you think I have not succumbed to the burns you gave me earlier?"
Indeed, Tophat's leg was already clogging up, which would soon stop the bleeding. It's left arm was slowly growing back out, and was also not bleeding.
