Tanner finds himself in the dark place. Cautiously, he moves forward.

The sword attacks were quick, and would have killed any ordinary man. However, the Meta was extremely resilient and was wearing good armour, so the attacks did little more than scratch and anger the Meta, who turned around and launched his series of attacks, though not at all as quickly as Tahril.

In the lounge sat the marine squad, joking to eachother and watching the match.

"...What? Okay...okay..." Tanner says as he continues on and finds himself in a suit. The room was sparsely furnished. In fact, there was hardly anything in the room despite a largish couch, a comfortable looking chair, a queen sized bed, and bookshelves. Lots of bookshelves, full of books all around the walls, making the place look like a library. "...So...Okay..." he mutters to himself as he enters.

"This is the suite we created based on a quick brain scan, and I must say, you have exellent taste."

The serpentin augmented Tahril's already insane marshall prowess and is insane speed allowed him to see most attacks coming, deflecting punchs with his swords. He flourished in a storm of blades before pressing a rune on each sword to activate the Power fields on the weapons. They now trailed crackling arcs of energy as Tahril renewed his attack. He was too high on serpentin to try to come up with another strategy now and simply began laughing as he continued his grim dance of swords.

OOC: Powerfields evaporate the armour of something before they strike. They can cut through all but the thickest armour. The Meta's shields will be unaffected however.

OoC: @Outis Sorry, I didn't see that for ages. I guess I could come on, though not sure if I should be Radec or someone else.

The Meta activated his overshields, negating the blows that got through, and he used assistance from his AI to boost his reactions, allowing him to block most of the attacks.
@Dirty: The rooms are pretty much your character's dream room.

"...Uh, who...?" Tanner asked as he looked around, wondering who was talking to him.

OOC: @Gear: Doesn't matter to me who you play. I was actually looking for a fight mostly. Maybe someone Tanner could fight without his suit.

The Meta had fallen into Tahril's trap. Before taking the serpentin he had know what effects combat drugs have on his mind and therefore came up with his plans beforehand. While he could not take more than 2 hits from the Meta he could certainly
avoid damage the close he was to the Meta. With serpentin in his system he was untouchable in melee. He would not let the Meta escape from his dance and would wear him down or stab him in the back should he try to leave. He laughed again as the Meta was on the defensive. The fool. Without a shadowfield his armour only offered moderate protection due to its lightweight design and if he was engaged at range and kept at range he would have no means to fight his opponent.

All of this thought was premeditated outside the arena. Tahril could see each blow fall into place as he whirred and stabbed. He would end this now. He span out of his attack and lunged forward with both blades aimed at the Meta's chest.

OoC: @Furi Nah. I was banned on Friday, so unless they let me back in for good behaviour or something, I still got a few days to go.
@Outis I wasn't talking about just fighitng against Tanner, but now that you mentioned it... how about Gaige?

The Meta pushed the blades aside as Tahril stabbed, and aimed his brute-shot down on the ground and shot a grenade, blowing them away from each other. The Meta was up again in seconds, and reloaded his brute-shot while searching for Tahril.

"...Well, okay. Why am I here? What is this place?" Tanner asks.

OoCOutis I wasn't talking about just fighitng against Tanner, but now that you mentioned it... how about Gaige?

Eh, I don't think he'd do very well against death trap...

"This is the Evilington interdimensional arena, bringing excitement to the masses. You were brought here because we think you'd be a great addtion to our roster."

OoC: @Outis The problem is Tanner, outside his suit at least, is just a normal soldier, right? Given that this arena has elemental knights and powerful succbi, anyone on par with Tanner would probably be outmatched by everyone else.

...I could always bring in Lambda just for lols...

Tahril landed on his back with a grunted, feeling his pain flow through him he grinned and got up. Only he didn't. Looking down, his Power Sword had landed through his midriff, slicing through his Ghostplate armour and pinning him to the floor. Tahril takes his helmet of and throws it to the side.

"Come on then, whelp!" He yells. "Luck is on your side this day!"
He grinned. "Kill me slowly and painfully...rend my flesh and shatter my skull. I'll be back to kill you and I will have your soul" He then burst out laughing.

"...Suuuure. So...this is some kind of Thunderdome thing then?" Tanner asks as he starts to look over one of his bookshelves.

OOC: If you don't know, Thunderdome was a thing in Mad Max where people fought to the death. Technically that was to settle disputes, but still pretty similar.
