Years of training alongside sky claw assault squads had taught Ragnar to roll forward before the end of a jump pack equipped enemy's arc, and he threw himself forward before the Meta was at the end of his. As a result he got behind the Meta when he landed, and turned to charge at him, a feral howl bursting from his throat.

 

[Outisakanobody]

The two fighters would notice that they had rather deep pools surrounding them, and thus had little dry land to fight on.

Rex continued to move away, glancing backward occasionally.

 

[Kirke]

Meta spun around, leaving his bruteshot half buried in the ground, and countercharged Ragnar. He lay all His strength and momentum behind a punch aimed squarely at his opponent's chest. The water hardly bothered him as he stood over two meters tall and was easily strong enough to move normally in it.

 

[Chungus]

When Bruce fell forwards, and as she was about to swing a kick, Solaris didn't stand all too steadily on her feet, even with Pix's help, meaning she was pulled down rather easily by Bruce. She fell on her left side with a grunt, and grunted more loudly as Bruce managed to twist himself and land ontop of her. Looking to Bruce with a groan, Solaris sighed. "You've won..."

After her surprisingly deep chat with Ragnar, Kenna had retired to her room for a quick rest. Now, she walked back into the lounge, stretching and unwrapping her jacket from around her waist, throwing it on the back of one of the chairs.

 

[Random berk]

Ragnar willingly took the punch to the chest, his chainsword still coming down on Meta's head and shoulder as he was driven back with an audible crack. Dragging across the armour in such a way, the chainsaw's teeth would bite in and rend the armour open wherever they found purchase for long enough.

 

[Kirke]

Meta grabbed the wrist of the arm held outstretched with his left hand, pushing it up. However, his shields failed and some damage was done. He brought up his right hand in a uppercut against Ragnar's elbow.

Bruce grinned, blood pouring from his nose, and rolled off Solaris.
"Well fought mate. Prolly my second favourite thing to do with a lady." He lay looking up at the ceiling, panting a bit.

 

[Chungus]

Eddie sat back on the couch with his hands behind his head, looking up to the Tv screen as he watched the two fights going on. Noticing Kenna walking into the lounge out of the corner of his eye, Eddie glanced towards her, and gave her a lazy wave. "Hey." he greeted, before looking back to the screen.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Kenna waved back at him as she went over to the bar. "Hey. New guy, huh?"

 

[Chungus]

Solaris chuckled lightly, if a bit bitterly. "Yes. You too." She replied as she stood up, rubbing her head as the arena reverting back to its default setting after Bruce was declared the victor. "Although I prefer to be on top..." Looking to Bruce's bloody nose, Solaris sighed again, this time a little more happily.

"A-yep. Got here a few minutes ago. Name's Eddie." Eddie answered with a nod. "Gotta say, I thought it wasn't so bad at first, but I pretty much changed my mind there. Things're fuckin' crazy here." He added, looking away from the screen, and glancing back towards Kenna.

 

[Random berk]

Ragnar grunted in pain as the elbow locked, but his power armour structure held it fast, preventing his arm from being badly injured. Even so the impact was almost enough to knock the chainsword from his grip and spoiled his attack. With his left hand he went for the bolter dangling on his belt, yanking it from the magnetic holster and levelling it at the Mata's side.

 

[Kirke]

"Heh, that can be arranged. I don't mind either way." - Bruce slowly got up, flashing a slightly mischievous smile before headin towards the locker room.
[hr]

Noticing something being levelled at his side, the Meta twisted his body, slapping the bolter muzzle away from himself while sending a left hook against Ragnar's face.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Kenna looked at the screen, noticing Ragnar. "Yeah. Some of the people here are a bit...off-kilter." She got her drink, then sat in a chair and looked back at Eddie.

 

[Chungus]

Solaris chuckled in response to Bruce, but didn't give a verbal response. Following after Bruce out of the arena, Solaris left the locker room, then began making her way to her suite, not wanting to have Bruce catch her in the act of pilfering things from Ness' room. Once in her suite, Solaris closed the door, and waited.

"There's a bit loopey, and there's swinging a king-size chainsaw... thing around, or torturing dudes to death." Eddie responded, standing up, picking the empty bottle and walking towards the bar, setting dropping the bottle in the bin once there. "I mean, I get we're supposed to be gladiators here, but damn." After picking up a second beer bottle, and popping the cap off, Eddie looked back to Kenna. "Anyway, what's your name?"

 

[Random berk]

Ragnar took the punch to the face and reeled, but he hooked his right arm around Meta's neck to keep him pointed in the right direction before driving his knee into the Meta's stomach and groin, as many times as he could in a drunken frenzy of sledgehammer blows.

"We're not all as nutty as he is. I'm Kenna."

 

[Kirke]

Bruce headed back to his own room, but on the way stopped by Ness's suite. He closed and locked the door, half-smiling to himself. He then headed to his room and took care of his nose.
[hr]

The Meta had the air pushed out of his lungs by the relentless assault, and took several grizzly hit before grabbing the knee with both hands and stopping it. He pulled at it with enough strength to easily move a few tons, attempting to spin Ragnar around and throw him away.

 

[Random berk]

Ragnar roared at the Meta as he went down but as soon as he hit the ground his bolter came up, and he levelled it at his enemy before squeesing off a stream of bolter shells.

As Solaris walked back inside, Pix reformed on the ground and got back up, idly scratching the back of her head. [color=80bb00] "....Sorry about that... I didn't expect him to move like that, so I was a little late to shifting to keep you upright." [/color]

As Bruce blatantly invaded Ness' privacy, walking into her room and locking the door, he'd see that Ness had fallen to the floor, still sleeping as a small clockwork robot whirred and walked around on her back.

 

[Chungus]

"It's alright." Solaris responded with a small sigh after Pix swirled off her and reformed on the ground. "I too underestimated his agility, and I shouldn't have tried to start grappling. Oh, well..." After running a hand through her hair, Solaris smiled, a slight twinkle in her eye. "At least I made him bleed. That's a nice consolation price."

"Well, I'll take your word for it." Eddie responded with a slight, wry smile. "How long've you been here?" He asked after taking a swing from the beer.
