As the voice guided him through, Rex eventually found himself in Carmen's room. She looked over at him in shock before the room suddenly gained an extension to itself. This one was like a messy apartment, with a couch, mini fridge and a large collection of movies and games. Part of the collection was in the shelves. Others on the floor or near the console plugged into the TV. Rex sighed as he flopped down into the couch. "Already likin' this place."
The succubus groaned for a moment before walking herself into the lounge, sipping a small drink.
Seeing no one else, Carmen casually sat down a bit close to Gold, but still far away enough not to be intrusive. She took another swig of her drink while giving a sideways glance toward him.
Gold looked over to Carmen. "So. It looks like getting your head blown off didn't do to much in tge whole 'killing you' department. Suppose we're immortal here then?"
OoC: Really tempted to do a fight, but it's so damn late... I'll just create something for the characters to dicuss.
In the arena, which was a maze of rather thin stone walls, the Meta was facing a group of 20 soldiers, all of them clad in white armour. They started to spread out, trying to find the Meta. However, he was using cloak to move over the maze. He started picking off soldiers, disappearing again before they reached his positon.
OoC: If you want a fight, just say that the Meta killed all the soldiers and that the arena is clear for use.
Carmen nodded toward Gold, not showing any signs of anger or jealousy toward him. "When one dies in the arena, their soul is transferred into a tube within their suite. Somehow, it's transferred into another body and then released. It's an odd process..."
She looked over toward Vippik and scoffed. "I'm glad to say I'm not. I was formerly the second ranked fighter in this place, but my losses have put me back considerably."
Gold raised one of his maimed eyebrows. "so what, I'd grow back without my scars or something? That'd be an... Unexpected benefit. And I managed to defeat the second best? Whos the best overall?"
Carmen pointed to the man on the screen, dispatching the soldiers like they were old toys. "No, you come back as you were before. Those scars of yours would stay intact. And that man is the current number one. My first loss was to him, and I must say... it was quite the battle. I really do hope I manage to get a rematch with him. As it stands now, I'm currently ranked 7th."
She looked over toward Raaz and nodded a bit. "It's been called the Evilington Arena or something of that sort. Weren't you listening to the voice that led you to your quarters?"

Rex wandered into the locker rooms and tugged on the chain around his arm. Let's get this started...
"Too bad. Oh well, I suppose." Gold pulled himself from the couch and stretched. "I'm going to get some hours in against weaker opponents. If nobody minds, of course." he left the lounge and headed into the locker room, peeking inside.
