Rex noted Nidoking's taps and activated his boosters preemptively, launching himself into the air and straight toward the Nidoking's face. He drew his right arm back. As his right hand curled into a fist, he roared as he drove it toward the pokemon's skull with enough power to break concrete. C'mon...

OoC: @Gear, M'kay then, I'll give it a crack.

A figure woke up in a ditch black room and looked around. "Wait...This isn't the Hazama....where the hell am I?" He questioned, the figure had one robotic looking leg and arm with a massive metal glove, his other arm was a strange combination of a sickle and a crossbow. the figure was dressed in black clothes with orange highlights in strange decal around the sides, his hair was black with orange streaks in it. and had a eye-patch with a cross symbol over his left eye.

Gold smirked and threw out a hand. Rex, instead of hitting Nidoking, would run straight into a wall, and while he would crack through it, he would lose most of the force of the punch. "Okay then, if you're so quick to fight. Buffy, Brick Break!" Buffy the Nidoking roared and swung out a fist, which would collide with Rex's stomach if it landed.

@FPS: ...Buffy?

A series of lights appeared long the pitch-black floor, leading to a doorway of light. "Please, follow the lighted path."

Dan watched the fight, drawing out a bow and arrow, waiting for a chance to strike.

Rex jerked his right elbow to parry the Nidoking's strike, sending its arm to the side. Using his boosters to stay at face height, Rex spun around before launching another monster right hook toward the Nidoking's face. "Sorry. Was never really good with words. Punches tended to have a better effect than anything."

Carmen continued to watch from her seat in the lounge, finished with her drink and her eyes back to their normal red color.

The figure grunted slightly. "Fine....this might be worth my time..." He said, his mechanical leg made a bit of a clicking sound as he followed the pathway.

OoC: @Gear I liked the name, and there is a bit of backstory behind it.
The Nidoking moved with a boxer's grace, ducking under the right hook. "Okay then, lets play the long game Buffy. Substitute." Buffy nodded, and his skin began scabbing, forming a shell around his body. Gold leaped off Buffy to swing at Rex, sending out a right hook.

OoC: @FPS I'm not slamming it, I just wanted to ask if it was a reference to that old show.

As the figure followed the lights on the floor and enetered the doorway, he eneterd what seemed to be his dream hotel suite.

As the figure entered the doorway, he saw casual looking room. a white and black tilted floor, a long orange sofa with a glass table next to it and some Japanese art on the walls. "Nice!" He said then jumped on the sofa, he put his mech foot on the table but smashed through it. "oh....that's was like that when I got here..." He muttered as he sweeped the glass under the sofa, then sat back down and relaxed. "SO, I'm either dead and this is Heaven or someone is after something!" He called out loud, waiting for a response.

As Rex began to fall, he grabber the arm Gold swung out at him before swinging the trainer around like a ragdoll as they fell. As they neared the ground, Rex roared as he swung with a lot of power to send Gold's body smashing into the ground. Rex fell a bit hard as well, a wound opening on his arm as he fell down. With his tolerance for pain, he got up and rolled his shoulder a little bit, looking more annoyed than pained as a bit of black blood dripped off his hoodie. "Well... That was reckless of you."

Speaking of reckless acts, Dan chose that moment to fire the bow. However, his aim was off, and the arrow flew towards Buffy.

"You have been brought here to fight for the entertainment of the masses. There is a match going on right now, in fact." There was a screen on the wall, showing the current battle.

Gold grinned as he was thrown to the ground, landing in a cushion of his own psychic force. He flopped up and down several times, losing the kinetic energy painlessly that Rex had put into him, balancing the equations to ensure no damage was done to him. "Good move. Too bad you focused on me when you should have taken a shot at Buffy. Buffy, if you would be so kind as to deliver a focus punch onto his idiotic ass?" Buffy nodded, took a single step forward- and darted across the field with unparalleled speed, a punch that would break the heavens themselves when it landed. His fist glowed with an unnatural light as the punch was delivered, and it would seem for an instant that a new sun was born where the punch landed.

Buffy's an interesting pokemon. Has two powerful fighting type attacks, a support move that lets him tank like a monster, and a ground stab in case somebody thought they could just out punch him. Unfortunately, a flying/ghost type or a ghost type with levitate would wall him, as we saw Rex doing quite effectively.

"I'm not sure how I feel about being some sort of 'freak attraction' for your audience" He said as he stood up and watched the fight with his one good eye. "I can't resist a fight....not to mention this gives me the perfect test for my...upgrades...." He said with a smirk, as he clenched his left hand slightly. the wire that was connected to his left arm lowered a bit, in the same level as the Screen on the wall.

"Well, if you're worried about getting hurt, don't be. All injuries, up to and including death, are cured as soon as the fight is over."

Had Gold not gloated after flopping all over the place for a decent amount of time, Rex probably wouldn't have noticed... or even cared about Buffy. As he looked at the pokemon charging up, he focused himself a bit and the chain around his transformed into a metal gauntlet. As the pokemon took the step then rushed forward, the demon boosted himself into the air and leveled himself out so he was horizontal in the air, gauntlet wound back as Buffy's horn began to graze under him.

"Nighty night, buddy." With a massive strike, Rex's gauntleted fist flew down toward the speeding Pokemon's skull, almost twice as strong as before. He called out to Gold after launching the attack. "I've got a fox friend that's way faster than your pet."

The figure chuckled. "Worried about a few straches, cuts and brusises?" He said mockingly. "Yeah, once you've been through extreme pain then you just learn from it....or upgrade it..." He added, his shoulder seemed to give off a whirling noise, like a disc was spinning. "As long as you have a mechanic on board, your fights should be no worry" the figure just smirks and he takes a bullet from his poach and looks at it for a while.

Gold held out both hands, holding Rex in midair. "Oh yeah, Buffy isn't close to being the fastest in combat. But what he lacks in speed, he makes up for in toughness." the shell around Buffy collapses, dropping gray plaster onto the floor, revealing a perfectly unharmed Nidoking underneath, although it looked as though he had several cuts along his arms. With Rex held in midair, Buffy crouched, charging up another focus punch. The arrow shot from Dan punched into the armor of the Nidoking, but only enraged it, as it decided that it would enjoy eating the skeleton after the fight.

Rex blinked a bit as he noticed his being suspended by Gold. In response, he sighed before his gauntlet transformed again, this time in the form of a black pistol. He aimed it toward the crouching Nidoking, firing a hail of energy bullets, each shot getting progressively stronger as, somehow, the wound on Rex's arm began to pour a bit more blood out. Well, this isn't all that good.
