<color=brown>"I suppose those rules are fair enough for knock out match. But that last sentence is a little... okay... plenty unnerving."

<color=green>"Ah, that would make sense. I've never actually heard of that term before. Is that why you have a stash of weapons with you in your coat?"

Annika spotted the Mason sisters nearby, looking over their clothing curiously. She was now holding her teddy against her chest, as she recovered from the fight. Annika's bare feet and jeans were covered in dirt from the fight, and her long, blonde hair had gone a little wild. By this point, her physical injuries had all been healed.

EMily and the others spotted Annika coming into the locker room. Since the televised fight had just ended, EMily didn't say a word about it. She was just a little stunned to see her in such good condition after such a brutal sortie.
"Hello. Are you okay?"

"No, I stash weapons in my coat in case of a fight. I got a concealed weapons permit."

Beth also looked at Annika, wondering if the small girl was OK, then looked over at Emily. [color=0047AB]"Don't suppose you know psychology?"[/color]

 

[Slenn]

Winona looked confused yet she was curious.
<color=green>"I don't get it. Do fights usually break out in your line of work?"

EMily was focused on Annika when Beth asked her a question. She turned back.
"Huh? Oh yes. I know a bit of psychology. But I'm a physicist, so I don't know how much I can say."
<color=purple>"Says the person who can be a telepath at high energies."
"You know what I mean, Gwen." She said back to her sister, turning her head over her shoulder. She went back to Beth. "What can I help you with?"

[color=0047AB]"Just wondering. You seemed like you wanna help her. And what was that about telepathy?"[/color]

EMily composed herself as a teacher would in front of a class. It was her own way of wanting to explain things.
"Well, wanting to know if someone's okay is a natural response. Doesn't have to come from a psychologist. But the telepathy thing is something that I learned from a trans-human named Markus. I know it must sound bizarre, but I have the ability to channel and sense electromagnetism on many scales. At high energies, it allows me to examine brain synapses firing. Markus was the one who helped translate some of the brain's internal language. Most of this will become a lot more believable when I demonstrate it. Although I will say that I did know you were a cyborg before you claimed you were one."

"My apologies. It looked like organic flesh over metal components."

OOC: I forget if that's how she's supposed to look. Terminator robots are considered cyborgs since they are often disguised as humans.

[color=0047AB]"It's not actual living flesh. Basically it's faux leather designed to resemble human skin. I can give you a bit for analysis if you want."[/color]

OoC: She does look human, but see what I just said above.

"No thank you, that's quite alright." EMily waved her hand. "I've asked a lot of questions about you, but do you have any questions about us?"

[color=0047AB]"Just a few. Are you OK, how did you get your powers, what's with the outfits, stuff like that."[/color] Beth replied casually.

"In order of reception: I'm doing alright, if a bit confused as to the nature of the place we're in. We were born with our powers, which are based off of the fundamental forces of nature. Our outfits are made of neosteel silk, so they're bullet resistant. And we worked as maids in a mansion growing up. So our outfits are in honor of our time spent."

[Slenn]

"You're most welcome. You don't want any elaboration on any of what I just said?"

"Well, don't hesitate to ask questions about us in the future. I love explaining things. But tell me, how long have you been in service since activation?"
