After playing his flute, Laminus continued flicking the charm hanging by his horn, while still moving towards the corner of the island. Soon, Laminus got his charm to work, a small smirk forming on his face. This didn't last long, however, as Blue stabbed at his chest. Rather then being impaled, however, the ice spike slid over Laminus' chest, the pale-blue lines brightening beneath the ice spike. The only real damage the ice spike did was tearing through Laminus' shirt when it slid off his chest.
While unharmed, Laminus left out a yelp as he was struck. Taking two quick steps backwards, Laminus' jumped over to the other island, there turning to face Blue. "If you could stop fighting us, that would be great, thanks," he remarked, his charm translating it to whatever spoken word Blue was familiar the most. If they didn't know any spoken language, nothing would happen.
Phyros called out as he flew, his eyes still fixed on blue. Tucking his wings closer to his sides, Phyros went into a dive towards Blue, and as he did, had a three metre long tendril of physical shadow rise up from the shadow cast by Blue's ice spike. The tendril lashed out at Blue, and would leave a 5cm deep gash in whatever it struck, unless a material was particularly tough, in which case, the deepness would lessen.
Whatever would happen, the tendril would sink back into the shadow it came from after lashing out.
Laminus muttered something under his breath upon hearing Phyros' call, and brought his flute to his mouth again, and played a four note long melody, this tune sharper in tone then the last he played. When finished, Phyros' claws would be enveloped in yellow-orange fire, which didn't seem to harm Phyros himself.
