a few thoughts:
A game that advertises itself with the words 'grim dark'...no. Just no. Whoever thought that was a good idea, ought to be fired.
I wonder how they manage to balance out the casualty ratio of Imperial Guard, in their Paper armor and Imperial Flashlights, in comparison to ceramite power-armor protected, genetically engineered supersoldiers. Because either they need to stay in-genre and accept that any imperial guard player will die 20-25x that of any other player and compensate for it, or somehow come up with a reason why the IG player suddenly, in contrast with the genre, dies at the same ratio as the super-soldier despite the humongous inherent power difference.
Hate to say this, but Space Marine will likely be just yet another mediocre game riding on a known title. I hope I am wrong, but that is what I'm expecting.
As for Dark Millenium: how will it, besides from the inherent setting, be different from any other brown-mildew mass MMPORPG we have by the dozens. As in, what will make it so different and new and unique, that no reviewer or critic can start their article with the words "It's just like World of Warcraft, but...". because let's be honest here, what is the difference between chugging a frag grenade, and launching a fireball? Graphics, and that's it. And if graphics will be the only fundamental difference, then we will have a disappointment in our hands.
